I just got my eyebrows tattooed..! And I'm seriously, genuinely so happy with them that I had to write a review! Six years ago I paid for an eyebrow tattoo myself.. and back then the trendy shape was straight brows, which is so different from today's trend, ugh.

You can park in the building's basement, and treatments are by appointment. Park downstairs, head up, and the studio is right there, so convenient haha.

What is the atmosphere at From Nana like?

From Nana is a private studio where the entrance is right there when you come up the elevator. Ride up and this is what you see!

White interiors, and you feel ready to relax into the treatment haha. I think the owner is super tidy! Everything was so well organized that I was envious! The first thing I did when I walked in was compliment how clean and organized it was, hahaha. I'm terrible at tidying up,, so I envy all you tidy-king types T_T

The treatment space is set up like this too, so you can relax. And wow, the bed is so sleep-inducing haha. I fell asleep without even realizing it during the treatment.

What does the consultation for a straight brow tattoo cover?

In the one-on-one consultation, the owner explained which brow shape suits my face shape and pointed out why my existing straight brows made me look stuffy. I'm a victim of the straight-brow trend from a few years ago, you know? She said the shape doesn't suit me and makes my face look totally stuffy.

So upsetting T_T But that's exactly what I always thought every time I looked in the mirror? And she nailed it.. isn't her eye incredible? She saw how serious my straight-brow problem was.. thought hard about how to fix it, and then started the treatment haha. She's so kind and her eye is so accurate.. I totally love her!

How long does a hair stroke brow tattoo take, and does it hurt?

The hair stroke brow tattoo at From Nana in Bucheon took about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, and thanks to the numbing cream applied beforehand, there was almost no pain. After she put it on I was like, what is pain? haha. It really didn't hurt at all..

Raising the brow position with a face-shape design

The owner shaped the brows in real detail before starting. She said that because they had to go higher than my previous brows, they might look a bit thick, but if it means I can change, I'll put up with it! I said, haha.

The treatment took 1:30 to 2:00 because the owner really carefully figures out your needs and is super meticulous T_T Maybe that's why the result turned out so satisfying.

How is hair stroke different from the combo technique?

I went with the hair stroke technique. She said that unlike the commonly done sujee (Korean-style) combo technique, it takes a lot more time and is higher quality. Instead of filling in with dots, you have to draw along the direction of the hair, so it takes enormous effort, she said.

There was almost no pain, and at the start I even snored while sleeping T_T Later it stung a little, but it was bearable! Now let's go see the after photos!

How did the straight brow fix turn out?

After the hair stroke correction at From Nana, the stuffy look from my straight brows vanished completely. Ta-da.. omg, isn't it so pretty?

I was so happy that the brow shape was done so prettily to fit my face T_T My mom saw my brows the same day and said they came out so pretty and asked where I got them done haha. So proud and satisfied! My friends also said the changed brows look much prettier, and they didn't even realize I'd had a brow tattoo?
