The moment I stepped into From Nana, a pleasant, sophisticated interior greeted me 🫧 Everything was so clean, and I could really feel that hygiene management was being handled thoroughly throughout.

One-on-one consultation by appointment: what is a hair stroke?

Since From Nana runs by appointment only, a big advantage was being able to relax in a private space entirely for myself, without worrying about anyone else's eyes. From consultation to design to the procedure itself, the director personally handled everything with careful 1:1 attention, which made me trust the process even more 🩵

The technique I chose this time is the hair-stroke semi-permanent method that's popular these days. Instead of the old dotted-line style or filling in a solid area, it delicately draws each strand one by one, giving a three-dimensional look that resembles your own natural eyebrows!

How the eyebrow tattoo is done, and does it hurt?

Past the round arch entrance is a private treatment space. The air conditioning was blasting and there was a fan too, and they kindly checked in to make sure I wasn't too hot.

Before the procedure, they applied a pain-relief cream for about 10 minutes, and in between they kept showing me a mirror to check whether the design needed any adjustments, which made me feel even more at ease. They designed everything carefully and then started the eyebrow tattoo procedure!

Maybe because the owner is so skilled, I felt zero pain! (Take my pain tolerance with a grain of salt.) I was tense remembering my past failed experience, but it was more like just feeling a vibration, haha. Toward the end, as the numbing wore off, I felt a slight sting, but compared to my previous place, it was practically nothing lol.

AFTER — doesn't it look just like my own eyebrows, one strand at a time..? It really looks like actual hair, not that 'I clearly got a tattoo' look, and I'm so satisfied.

They really drew it to look like each strand had grown in naturally. The color was a not-too-bright brown. It's not the overly dark, Shin-chan-like heavy look — I went straight to work and moved around fine right after the procedure! The biggest joy is that my getting-ready time has been cut in half...

My hair is naturally brown, so matching the color must have been tricky, but they made it blend seamlessly with my original eyebrow color, looking just like natural eyebrows — I'm so satisfied ㅠㅠ If you want a natural, pretty eyebrow makeover, don't hesitate — definitely pay a visit to From Nana in Bucheon.
