Tiny Dot, a roastery café in Juan, Incheon

A friend was coming to my neighborhood today, so I finally got to visit a café in a while! After lunch we were dying to start chatting, so here is the Juan, Incheon roastery café we picked: Tiny Dot (타이니닷).

What are Tiny Dot's opening hours and parking?

Tiny Dot is open weekdays (Mon–Fri) 10:00–20:30 and weekends (Sat–Sun) 11:00–20:30. You can park behind the building.

A striking building with roomy parking

Every floor has its own charm at this big Juan café, and since Tiny Dot uses the whole building as a café, it stands out even from far away! We came by car, and there is café-only parking around the shop, so no parking worries.

What's on Tiny Dot's first floor?

The first floor holds the order counter, the roasting machine and a millstone that steals the show.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the millstone! Now I really wanted to try the signature millstone matcha latte, haha. To the right were fresh beans for hand drip. The steady sellers always stay, but they swap in about 2 different beans every month so customers can taste more variety :)

How much are coffee beans at Tiny Dot?

The counter sells beans separately: 200g for ₩12,000, 500g for ₩25,000 and 1kg for ₩40,000. Drip bags are available too.

If you want to enjoy Tiny Dot's flavorful beans at home, I recommend picking some up!

  • 200g ₩12,000
  • 500g ₩25,000
  • 1kg ₩40,000

Can you choose your espresso beans at Tiny Dot?

The cold brew uses Kenya AA beans, and for hand drip you can choose beans by origin. I also liked that every other espresso drink lets you choose the beans too! Here are the espresso options.

  • Mild blend: soft and clean
  • Dark blend: rich and heavy
  • Charcoal Blend, charcoal-roasted: rich and intense (+₩500)
  • Decaf (+₩500)

What we ordered after lunch

  • Americano (iced) x 2
  • Millstone matcha latte (iced)
  • Gourmet butter salt bread
  • Croffle

The hot weather had me craving something cold, and I briefly thought about trying hand drip, but I don't really know much about coffee, so I ended up with my usual americano.

What is the seating like on each floor of Tiny Dot?

The second floor is for conversation, the third floor is quiet, and the fourth floor is reservation-only group seating. Each floor has different interiors and styling, so picking a spot that suits you is half the fun!

Second floor: perfect for catching up with friends

After ordering, we started looking for a seat. The second floor is a place where friends, family and couples can talk comfortably.

Third floor: for a quiet coffee

The third floor looked perfect for coming alone to read or work on a laptop. I even made up my mind to drink coffee by the window up there next time.

Fourth floor group seating (booking required)

Reservation-only group seating on Tiny Dot's fourth floor

Groups can contact Tiny Dot in advance, and the shop prepares the fourth floor as a private space. Even among the Michuhol cafés in my neighborhood, a space this wide and open is rare, and I was so happy to have found such a perfect spot!

How do you carry your order upstairs at Tiny Dot?

You pick up your order on the first floor and take the elevator up. While we were looking around the shop, our order came out, so we picked it up and rode the elevator up! There is room to set your tray both while waiting for the elevator and inside the ride up. The owner's thoughtfulness really showed 🙂

How does Tiny Dot's gourmet butter salt bread taste?

Maybe because it is handmade, the butter flavor of Tiny Dot's gourmet butter salt bread was really rich. We had it with a cold iced americano.

I love salt bread and eat it often, but with this handmade gourmet butter salt bread the butter flavor was no joke! My friend couldn't stop raving about how delicious the salt bread here is 😊

Drinks and dessert enjoyed with a friend at Tiny Dot

We were chatting about this and that with a friend I hadn't seen in ages, and suddenly it was time to go. Back on the first floor, there is a tray return next to the counter, so we could drop everything off easily!

Tiny Dot in Juan: the verdict

  • A great place to pick beans to suit your taste and enjoy coffee
  • A space that works whether you come alone or with others
  • A Michuhol café with satisfying coffee, desserts and atmosphere
  • An owner so serious about coffee that they sell beans
