Our dating-days regular, Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, revisited

Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch is a Western restaurant my husband and I used to visit now and then when we were dating. The atmosphere was great for dates and the food was all delicious, so I wanted to go back after a long time. It's a popular pasta spot in Beomgye, so here's my detailed review from the visit :)

How to get to Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch, and parking

It's a 5-minute walk from Beomgye Station Exit 3, so access is really good. It's on the 5th floor of the Park Avenuel building, so just take the elevator up.

For parking, use the mechanical parking garage under the Park Avenuel building. Parking is free for the length of your meal, so it's easy for drivers too. Just show your receipt when you leave after eating.

If there's a wait, you register through Catch Table, but we went on a weekday around 6 pm and got straight in with no wait.

Date-night mood in Beomgye: the interior and seating

The interior is clean and stylish overall. The space is laid out like separate rooms, and each one has different lighting and props, so each has its own mood. That made it even prettier and fun to look around.

The tables are spaced fairly wide, so you can eat comfortably without feeling squeezed next to the neighboring table. Even as guests slowly filled up, it stayed calm, so I think it suits a date or a wedding invitation meetup too.

We sat at a brighter window seat, where warm sunlight came softly through the blinds. It was a space that made me feel relaxed.

You order through the kiosk at each table, and the menu covers a range of Western dishes: pasta, gnocchi, risotto, steak, pizza and more. Most dishes are under ₩20,000 a plate, so the value is good. There are also freshly squeezed juices, soft drinks, wine, highballs, beer and other drinks to go with your meal, so pick whatever you like.

There's also Signature Set A, which lets you eat the most popular dishes a bit cheaper.

Included: water, pickles, warm bread

Cutlery was already set at each table, and water and pickles came out right after we ordered.

Bread is served by default too. It came warmed up, so the texture was even softer, and dipping it in the oil added a nutty flavor that was just right for whetting the appetite.

Then all the dishes we ordered came out. Instead of a set menu, we ordered three dishes à la carte.

Salchi steak, grilled medium-rare

The salchi steak (steak made from chuck flap tail) comes with grilled beef and butter-roasted garnishes.

You can choose the doneness yourself, so I went with medium-rare. The rich juices filling my mouth and the tender texture worked together, and it came out exactly as I'd hoped, so I ate it very happily.

The steak also comes with as many as 4 sauces, so you can enjoy different flavors, and eating it with the garnishes fills your mouth with the soft aroma of butter.

Hot shrimp garlic pasta, a spicy oil pasta

The hot shrimp garlic pasta is made with shrimp and roasted whole garlic in spicy oil.

The subtle garlic flavor and the spicy oil sauce go well together, and it isn't greasy even at the end, which I liked. Add the springy shrimp and it's addictive, I'd say!

Abalone innards cream risotto, tasting just like before

The abalone innards cream risotto gets its flavor from rich abalone innards. It's also generously topped with cheese, so you get double the richness.

Finely chopped abalone in the thick, smooth cream sauce adds a chewy texture, and with the rich flavor of the innards it was so delicious. I had this dish on my earlier visit too, and the taste hasn't changed :) It's a flavor I keep thinking about, so I definitely recommend this one!!

The sauce served with the risotto can be added to taste. I first thought it was garlic sauce, but it had a sweeter flavor than expected. It made a fun change of taste.

Revisit verdict: Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch overall

Two Find Peter Beomgye Branch has three charms: value, flavor and atmosphere. I thought it was good on earlier visits, and it was unchanged this time, which made me even happier. If you're looking for a pasta spot in Beomgye, why not give it a visit :)
