Seogwipo café near Jeongbang Waterfall: Forest Jeongbang
In short
Forest Jeongbang is a café in Seogwipo, Jeju, less than a minute’s drive from Jeongbang Waterfall, with its own parking lot. After stopping by Jeongbang Waterfall, I visited Forest Jeongbang to cool down and satisfy my hunger. I ate a sandwich and croffle while looking out at the trees and sea from a second-floor window; the view and the coffee-included sets stayed with me.

How close is the café to Jeongbang Waterfall, and is parking easy?
Forest Jeongbang is less than a minute’s drive from Jeongbang Waterfall. Its black metal exterior with orange accents stood out even from a distance.
The café has its own parking lot, so parking was not inconvenient. There was also a guard dog on one side of the lot.
What are the opening hours and entrance details?
At the time of my visit, the glass entrance door listed hours of 09:00–19:00, last orders at 18:30, and closure every Thursday in Korean and English. Character figures such as Pokémon and Hello Kitty were placed on a courtyard bench by the entrance, and I saw tourists taking photos with the surrounding scenery behind them.
Which seats are best for the sea view?
The space on the right side of the first floor felt open, with wide gaps between tables and a high ceiling. Blue scenery was also visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
We preferred the second-floor view to the first floor, so we sat by an upstairs window. Trees, sky, and sea stretched out together beyond the glass, making it a pleasant view to rest with. There were also quite a few international tourists when I visited.
How much are the coffee-and-food sets?
Along with coffee, drinks, and tea, the menu included desserts, sandwiches, and handmade rice cakes. We ordered two sets that included Americanos.
- Sandwich + Americano set: ₩12,500 at the time of visit. I chose the egg and crab meat sandwich over the chicken breast option.
- Ice cream croffle + Americano set: ₩12,000 at the time of visit.
We enjoyed the coffee and food while taking in the view from the window. It felt less expensive than ordering coffee and a dessert or sandwich separately.
How did the sandwich and ice cream croffle taste?
The egg and crab meat sandwich was generously filled with an egg-and-crab-meat salad between soft slices of white bread. It was dusted with parsley, and the soft bread went well with the savory salad, making it good for brunch.
The ice cream croffle was topped with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. The croffle was crisp outside and moist inside. The melting ice cream and sweet caramel sauce went well with the coffee.
Was it a good place to rest during a Jeongbang Waterfall trip?
The best part was the scenery beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows. The green view worked well with the building exterior for photos, and simply sitting and looking at it was easy on the eyes. With on-site parking and coffee-and-food sets, it was a good place to take a short break and ease my hunger after visiting Jeongbang Waterfall.
