In short
Forest Jeongbang is a café near Jeongbang Waterfall in Seogwipo, Jeju, with its own parking lot, a second-floor ocean view, and a terrace. I visited with my child, tried the Jeongbang Waterfall Latte, cheesecake, and fresh chocolate, and especially liked the latte’s nutty pistachio finish and the rich cheesecake.

Is it easy to stop by near Jeongbang Waterfall by car?
While exploring Seogwipo on my Jeju trip, I visited Forest Jeongbang (포레스트 정방) near Jeongbang Waterfall. Its exterior had a relaxed feel, and the café has its own parking lot, which made it convenient to visit by car. Being close to Jeongbang Waterfall also made it a nice place to take a break during the trip.

What are the hours and ordering process?
The hours listed in the original post were 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily, with last orders at 6:30 PM. It also said the café operates without days off.

There were various drinks, including coffee, lattes, and ade, along with desserts. We ordered our drinks and desserts together from the first-floor kiosk. I chose the signature Jeongbang Waterfall Latte, which is a pistachio latte.

What are the ocean-view seats and indoor spaces like?
After ordering, I looked around the café. In addition to the second-floor seating and terrace, there was a separate space on the first floor, so it felt more spacious than I expected. I headed upstairs first.

The second floor felt bright and open, with sunlight coming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There was plenty of seating, and I could see green scenery and the sea outside the windows. A terrace extended outside as well.

The separate first-floor space also looked out onto the scenery through large windows. With a variety of sofa and table seating, I could choose the spot I wanted. Each area had a slightly different atmosphere, which made it enjoyable to look around.

How did the Jeongbang Waterfall Latte and desserts taste?
For dessert, I had cheesecake and fresh chocolate. The cheesecake was dense yet soft, with a rich cheese flavor that suited my taste. The fresh chocolate melted smoothly in my mouth and tasted sweet and rich. Since it came in bite-sized pieces, I kept reaching for one at a time.

At first, the Jeongbang Waterfall Latte tasted like a smooth, sweet latte. As I drank it, the distinctive nutty flavor of pistachio lingered subtly at the end. I usually like pistachios, so I enjoyed it.

What was it like staying with a child?
A high chair was available, so I could seat my child comfortably. My child got to rest for a while too. That day, the owner also gave the children drinks and stickers. I appreciated the small gesture, and it felt kind.

Outside the café, there was a photo zone with several characters gathered together. My child, who likes Pokémon, posed beside the characters for photos. There was also a dol hareubang (Jeju stone grandfather statue) behind it, which made it feel like we were in Jeju.

What was the receipt review event like during my visit?
I also joined the receipt review event that day. The first prize was said to be a Jeju hairtail set worth ₩150,000, so I excitedly drew one myself, but I got fifth place. The result was equivalent to ₩1,000, and the drawing process was fun too. It was a brief rest during the trip, spent having desserts with my child and taking photos.
