Seoul Korean BBQ after an Olympic Park date: 300g pork galbi, Hantiok

The address is 114 Wiryeseong-daero, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea (1st floor). You can park in front of the restaurant, and there is valet parking too. Valet costs ₩3,000 and isn't offered on weekdays, only on weekends and public holidays. You can also use the nearby Wiryeseong-gil public parking lot (09:00–21:00, ₩250 per 5 minutes).

Why we came to Hantiok Bangi branch after Olympic Park

I wanted proper Korean food and meat near Olympic Park, so I searched for good places in Bangi-dong and ended up at Hantiok Bangi branch. The weather's been so nice that my boyfriend and I have been wandering all over every weekend, haha. This time we were near Olympic Park for the first time in a while, so we dropped by!

When I eat, I really love places that serve meat + soup + side dishes in a neat full table setting, rather than just meat, you know?! Hantiok was exactly my style, haha. It comes out as a tidy hansang (full table set), the meat quality is good, and the restaurant is spacious and clean, so I was quite satisfied! I'm leaving this review for anyone looking for a Bangi-dong meat restaurant or a good spot near Olympic Park~~

Is Hantiok Bangi branch close to Olympic Park and Bangi Station?

Hantiok Bangi branch is near the Bangi-dong food alley, and Olympic Park, Lotte World Mall and Bangi Station are all close. That makes it great after a date, haha. I stopped by Olympic Park that day and then moved over for dinner, and it wasn't far at all, so the route worked well :)

And parking and valet are both available! These days it's surprisingly hard to find a restaurant in Seoul with parking T_T haha

Spacious, clean restaurant with rooms and group seating

The moment you walk into Hantiok Bangi branch, you can tell the place is huge! Honestly, when I go to a restaurant the food matters, but I pay quite a lot of attention to the atmosphere too, you know?! At meat restaurants especially, I personally don't like places that are chaotic or have tables crammed together T_T But Hantiok Bangi branch was spacious as soon as I walked in, which I loved!

Overall it's clean and well kept, and with separate group seating and rooms it looked great for company dinners or family gatherings :) I can see why so many reviews say people come here for group meals, haha. Perfect for bringing your parents! A meat restaurant with rooms is the best, right? Just the right space for a get-together!

Hantiok Bangi branch menu and what we ordered

That day we ordered the LA hansang with brisket broth (yangji-gukmul) and 300g of Hanwoo pork galbi (pork ribs). The menu was much more varied than I expected when I first looked at it!

I debated for a while before ordering like this, and personally I was totally happy that we tried both!

How are the side dishes?

The basic side dishes at Hantiok Bangi branch also come out neat and well made overall. I care a lot about side dish quality at meat restaurants?! No matter how good the meat is, bad side dishes are a letdown T_T But these felt tidy and traditionally Korean rather than harsh or heavily seasoned :) It felt a bit more like eating proper Korean food than a typical meat restaurant, haha

The LA hansang and brisket broth

The LA hansang at Hantiok Bangi branch comes out all neatly laid across the table, and the look alone was amazing, lol. I personally love hansang meals with lots of side dishes served together?! It passes on looks alone, haha

And the brisket broth served alongside was really good! Soups like this are often just a side, but this one was surprisingly rich and clean?! They also sell Andong guksi (Andong-style noodle soup), so the broth is fantastic.. haha. Sipping it in the middle of eating meat was such a great combo :)

LA galbi with a not-too-sweet marinade

The main LA galbi was good because the marinade wasn't over the top. Sometimes you get marinated galbi that's too sweet or too strong, right?! Hantiok's LA galbi wasn't like that!

A staff member grilled it for us with great care! The meat itself was tender too, haha. Definitely the style that goes well with rice! Yum!

The surprise winner: Hanwoo pork galbi 300g

The surprise winner that day was the 300g Hanwoo pork galbi, lol. Honestly, at first we just ordered it as an extra to try?!

And the marinade wasn't too strong, and the meat kept quite a lot of its own juices :) It goes so well with rice! My boyfriend and I both said, "Huh...? This is good!" and kept eating, lol

The restroom was super clean too!

Hantiok Bangi branch: overall verdict

Hantiok Bangi branch was a Songpa meat restaurant I was quite satisfied with for the first time in a while, haha.

I think it's good for anyone near Bangi-dong who wants a quieter meal rather than a loud drinking-place vibe :) Personally, Hantiok felt less like a simple Bangi-dong meat restaurant and more like a place for dates or family gatherings! It's spacious and clean, with separate rooms and group seating, and the atmosphere was much better than I expected, haha.

I think it works well as a dinner after an Olympic Park date! If you want neat Korean food + proper meat near Bangi-dong, I recommend Hantiok Bangi branch :) It's a place where I thought it'd be fine to come back and bring my parents next time, haha
