Yongsan mall ramen with a kid: mild dongpo pork set, Menya Seoul
In short
Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch is a dongpo pork chashu ramen restaurant on the 7th-floor restaurant floor of Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan, Seoul, near the central escalator. Over lunch with a child, the writer ordered the dongpo pork chashu ramen set for 17,900 won, ate it first with the mild broth and stirred in the chili sauce at the end to turn it spicy, with crispy gyoza on the side. A big chunk of dongpo pork, a soft-boiled egg and bean sprouts make one bowl feel complete, so Menya Seoul is an easy pick when nothing else in the mall stands out.

A big bowl of dongpo pork ramen, from Menya Seoul. A great ramen spot for rich broth and generous toppings.

Why Menya Seoul when you can't decide what to eat at Yongsan I'Park Mall
Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch is a dongpo pork chashu ramen restaurant on the 7th floor food court of Yongsan I'Park Mall. I was out in Yongsan with my kid and we wandered the food court looking for lunch.

There were so many options I couldn't decide, until a ramen topped with a big chunk of dongpo pork caught my eye. That was Menya Seoul!!

This place comes up a lot when you search for Yongsan I'Park Mall ramen restaurants, but the menu was a bit different from the usual ramen shop — dongpo pork, jambon, mazesoba and more.

They also had a mild broth option my kid could eat, so we decided this was lunch. Here's the full write-up!

It's especially handy if you're looking for ramen near Yongsan Station before or after catching a train, or while shopping at I'Park Mall — no need to go far to eat.
Grab a seat before you order
Check whether there's a seat available before ordering food

Yongsan I'Park Mall's 7th floor food court gets pretty crowded on weekends or around mealtimes.

There's bar-style seating right in front of Menya Seoul, plus shared tables nearby where you can eat too. When it's busy, it's worth checking whether a seat is free before you order.

Once you order, you get a buzzer and just wait for the food to be ready.
Outside: look for the red sign

Near the central escalator on the 7th floor food court, you'll see a storefront that says MENYA SEOUL.

If you spot red, that's Menya Seoul.

Out front there are menu display models,

so I could see exactly what toppings each ramen had before ordering.

The huge chunk of dongpo pork really caught my eye — it looked even more appetizing in person than in photos.
Inside Menya Seoul and the seating
Menya Seoul Yongsan I'Park Mall Branch isn't a spacious standalone shop — it's more like an open counter in a food court.
Right in front of the shop there's bar seating good for one or two people, plus shared tables nearby you can use as well.
At mealtimes there can be a lot of people looking for seats, so I'd recommend checking the seating situation first.
Menu and prices at Menya Seoul

Menya Seoul's ramen lineup was more varied than I expected. From the signature dongpo pork chashu ramen to jambon-topped ramen, mazesoba, and even cold ramen!
- Dongpo pork chashu ramen ₩12,900
- Spicy (eolkeun) dongpo pork chashu ramen ₩12,900
- Mala dongpo pork chashu ramen ₩13,500
- Jambon chashu ramen ₩10,900
- Lamb skewer chashu ramen ₩16,900
- Mala lamb skewer chashu ramen ₩17,500
- *Set and double-portion options also available
The broths ranged from mild to spicy, so it wasn't hard to pick a menu even visiting with a kid who can't handle spicy food.
How is the 17,900-won dongpo pork chashu ramen set?
We ordered the dongpo pork chashu ramen set for ₩17,900. Buzzer in hand after ordering! After a short wait, the ramen and side dish arrived together.

With a hefty piece of meat, egg, bean sprouts and green onion all in one bowl, it looked appetizing just from the toppings alone.
First sip of the broth! It wasn't overly salty or heavy — more of a clean finish. But it wasn't bland either; you could still taste that rich ramen-style depth.
Chewy noodles
The springy noodles soaked up the broth nicely!

The noodles paired well with the broth,
Crunchy bean sprouts
The crunchy bean sprouts added great texture too!

The bean sprouts gave a nice crunchy bite here and there.
A big chunk of dongpo pork
One thick, generous slab of dongpo pork! What really stood out about this ramen was, of course, the chunky dongpo pork.

With the meat piled on this generously,

eating it together with the noodles made for a pretty filling bite.
The soft-boiled egg
And a nice moist soft-boiled egg on top!

Having the egg in there too meant instead of just eating noodles nonstop,

I got to pick and choose toppings along the way, which was fun. If you want to try a big chunk of dongpo pork instead of the usual chashu at one of the Yongsan I'Park Mall ramen restaurants, this is worth trying.
How was the crispy gyoza side?
We also tried the crispy gyoza as a side. True to its name, the outside came out nicely golden and crisp, and it was a good bite to pair with sips of the ramen broth.

It tasted very similar to Bibigo gyoza dumplings. It's an easy, unfussy side, so if you think the ramen alone won't be enough, ordering this as a side seems like a good call.
Stir in the sauce at the end for a spicy finish
After eating a good amount of the mild broth, I finally stirred in the sauce. As soon as the sauce went in, the clear broth clearly turned into a spicier-looking color.
Same ramen, but the whole vibe of the flavor changed completely. It tasted even better. Rather than eating the same flavor from start to finish, switching it up to spicy at the end let me enjoy two different experiences in one bowl.
Final verdict on Menya Seoul
- 1. Mild broth turned spicy — start off light and clean, then add sauce to switch it up to spicy.
- 2. Big dongpo pork and varied toppings — thick dongpo pork plus a soft-boiled egg and bean sprouts made for a satisfying bowl.
- 3. Crispy gyoza that pairs well with the ramen — the golden, crispy gyoza made the meal even more filling.
My verdict: when I couldn't decide what to eat at Yongsan I'Park Mall, Menya Seoul let me enjoy everything from mild to spicy to my taste, and with the big dongpo pork and crispy gyoza, it was a satisfying ramen restaurant pick in Yongsan.
