Myeongdong burger takeout: double cheese juicy even cold, Daily Fix
In short
Daily Fix Euljiro is a handmade burger shop serving Hanwoo (Korean beef) patties on the ground floor of the Fast Five building on the Myeongdong side of Jung-gu, Seoul, about a 5-minute walk from Euljiro 1-ga Station. On a Myeongdong outing, the writer took a Double Cheese Burger (₩15,900) and a Bacon Cheese Burger to go, while a companion ate a Classic Burger set with a pretzel bun in the shop, and the takeout cheeseburger was still juicy that evening without reheating. Daily Fix Euljiro is a burger shop whose burgers hold up well as takeout.

Why I stopped at Daily Fix Euljiro for takeout burgers on a Myeongdong outing
Daily Fix Euljiro is a handmade burger shop about 5 minutes from Euljiro 1-ga Station, and I stopped by to get burgers to go during a Myeongdong outing. Haeni (my companion) told me to bring back handmade burgers after our Myeongdong trip, so I searched Naver for a good burger place and landed on Daily Fix Euljiro! I followed Google Maps and found it quickly.
The building is a Fast Five, and finding the building was easy, but I wandered around looking for the entrance and ended up going in through the back door, haha. Turns out there are 3 doors, and I left through the front one. Daily Fix is supposedly one of Seoul's top 3 handmade burger spots, recommended by Tzuyang and Kang Min-kyung, so in we went!

Daily Fix Euljiro entrance, atmosphere, hours and parking
At Daily Fix Euljiro, back door, front door or side door, you can just walk in through any of them. The vibe inside is totally American style! Most of the customers were foreigners, which surprised me. And the staff were so friendly that it put me in a good mood!
More than half the customers were foreigners. I dodged the crowd and snapped a photo along the wall. Hours are 11 AM to 11 PM (closing at 10 on Saturdays and Sundays). Parking is paid, on B1 of the Fast Five building (free for 30 minutes, then ₩3,000 per 30 minutes).

Bong (my nickname for my companion) said they wanted to eat one burger before leaving, so we grabbed a seat, took a few shy photos, and ordered!

Daily Fix Euljiro menu and prices
At Daily Fix Euljiro you order from a tablet, and the Double Cheese Burger and the pastrami sandwich are each ₩15,900. A receipt review event was running when I visited.
I added the Double Cheese Burger at ₩15,900, and since Kang Min-kyung raved about the Bacon Cheese Burger, I had to try that too, so that went in as well! The pastrami sandwich (₩15,900), which I love, will have to wait for next time!

Sides and drinks
Sides at Daily Fix Euljiro include french fries, onion fries, chili cheese fries and bacon cheese fries. Maybe because they serve beer, there are also sides like chicken, wings and nachos.

Funnily enough, Daily Fix sells whiskey and boilermakers (bomb drinks) too. The milkshake and Oreo shake were sold out. Such a shame :(
Ordering a Classic Burger set: pretzel bun and thick fries
They say the patties are made fresh every day from 100% Hanwoo. Bong wanted to eat a freshly made burger before leaving, so we ordered a Classic Burger set. We swapped the bun for a pretzel bun (₩900 extra), and adding fries and a drink to the set is ₩4,900, but we switched to thick fries (18 fries) for ₩5,900 extra.
I had just eaten, so I wasn't going to eat, but we set everything up anyway. I'd have the Double Cheese Burger to go, and Haeni would have the Bacon Cheese Burger, so that was dinner sorted. Can't wait!

The drink came out first. They said refills were available, but only one set was being eaten, by Bong alone, so that one cup was plenty!

Oh~ besides the 100% Hanwoo patty (150g), it was also 2nd place at the Korea Burger Championship. The bacon in the bacon burger was thick and tasty, and both the bacon and the pastrami are handmade. I only read this after ordering. I looked it up, and besides the Gangnam main branch, there are several chain locations now, and Euljiro (Myeongdong branch) is one of them. Next time I should try the Jamsil Jangmi Sangga branch too.
How was the pretzel bun Classic Burger?
When we switched the Daily Fix Classic Burger to a pretzel bun, out came a burger that really looked like a pretzel. The Classic is the simplest and also the most reasonably priced, but its looks were anything but modest. Fresh vegetables, tomato, raw onion and a thick patty too! I took the 2 takeout burgers on the tray as well so I could photograph them together.
Clean and simple, no frills!

Do the takeout Double Cheese and Bacon Cheese Burgers still taste good cold?
The Daily Fix cheeseburger comes with a thick patty, cheese, Daily Fix sauce and raw onion. We ate it at home in the evening, and both the portion and the taste were just right. I ate it cold without reheating, and it was still gushing with juice, very clean and mild!
The Bacon Cheese Burger was the one Haeni asked me to buy, so we cut it in half and shared. The bacon was thick and the patty was hefty, so even that one burger was very filling! We decided to get these two to go again. Now to watch Bong taste the burger ha.
One bite and the juices just poured out, haha. It looks delicious at a glance. The vegetables are fresh, and Bong says the raw onion makes it even better.

I wasn't going to eat any, but I couldn't resist the temptation and took one bite, and it's just so, so good.

I took home the 2 burgers that Daily Fix Euljiro had packed so nicely, and Haeni and I happily split them half and half.

We visited Myeongdong Cathedral to pray and did some shopping, a fun weekend outing!
