Sillim Station's Prepers Sillim Main Branch: the day I picked up a salad lunch

After running errands near Sillim Station, I decided to take a salad lunch to go from Prepers Diet Food Sillim Main Branch! I'd ordered takeout from the Yongsan branch before, so I walked in happily the moment I saw the Prepers building. Last time I packed food to share with a friend, but this time I was getting two to eat with Hani!

Prepers has a wide menu, from plates and bowls to pasta. For meat you can choose beef, chicken or pork, and then pick a Cobb plate or a regular plate. There's no parking. I'd left my car in a paid car park in another building next door while I ran my errands, so I decided to just pop over and pick up the salad lunch.

Prepers Sillim Main Branch hours and event
Prepers Sillim Main Branch is open from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m.! Very Sillim. There was a sale on all chicken plates and I thought, yay, but then I checked the dates: just 3 days, July 13 to 15. Events seem to differ a little from branch to branch.

I went at lunchtime, and with so many dine-in and delivery orders the kitchen was slammed. You order at the kiosk and wait, and I was getting hungrier by the minute. The Sillim branch has been renovated inside. It's really spacious and pleasant, and the 2nd floor has plenty of seats too.
How do you choose a menu at the Prepers kiosk?

Prepers has lots of menu items, but choosing isn't hard. Check the at-a-glance menu board, then go to the kiosk and pick salad, bowl, Cobb salad, curry or pasta. Choose beef, chicken or pork as the main meat, pick a dressing, and then add toppings (optional).

Pasta: pick your meat, then rosé or regular
The pasta list includes chicken salad pasta, beef rosé salad pasta, beef spicy perilla oil rosé pasta, chicken rosé salad pasta, pork salad pasta and pork rosé salad pasta, so you choose the meat and then rosé or regular. The pasta is served cold, and you can add sides.
Bowls (rice bowls), double bowls and curry rice
For bowls (rice bowls) there are chicken teriyaki, beef wasabi, pork wild garlic (myeongi namul) and more; you pick the meat and dressing, and choose whether you want a combo (with a drink). The double bowl has twice the meat, and the curry rice comes with pork, chicken or beef.
Plates: regular salad and Cobb salad
The plates are the regular salad and the Cobb salad. Here too you choose beef, pork or chicken as the base. I'd eaten something heavy the day before and felt bloated, so I went with plates! My pick was the Beef Plate. It comes with a scoop each of sweet potato and sweet pumpkin (danhobak) as standard. And I added a Chicken Cobb Salad too.
Good prices, great taste: Prepers is a place I trust!

Besides soda, drinks include a non-fat latte and protein coffee. The drinks and food are tailored for people on a diet, which I like.
What's the 2nd floor seating like at Prepers Sillim Main Branch?

The 2nd floor of Prepers Sillim Main Branch is even bigger and more pleasant than the 1st. After ordering at the kiosk I heard there was 2nd-floor seating, so I went up to look, and wow, it really is bigger. Lots of people were eating solo. I'd planned to eat one there and take one away, but because my car had been parked next door for a long while, I decided to grab the food and head back quickly!

After looking around upstairs I came back down, sat at a table on the 1st floor and waited for my number to be called. Delivery orders kept coming in, so the short wait gave me time to take lots of photos.
Beef Plate and Chicken Cobb Plate: dressings and toppings

Take them out and snap a proof photo! The clear lunch container with the green paper band is part of the Prepers concept, and it looks healthy and fresh, which I like.
I picked wasabi dressing for the Beef Plate and lemon dressing for the Chicken Cobb Salad. For toppings I added a soft-boiled egg and a baked egg, because I really wanted a healthy lunch.

I opened them the second I got home! Beef Plate salad, Chicken Cobb Plate! The Beef Plate has a scoop each of mashed sweet potato and sweet pumpkin, and those are so delicious!

How were the Prepers beef and chicken?
One was mine and one was Hani's, but since I had to eat my solo lunch first, I decided to eat half beef and half chicken!

It was my first time ordering the Prepers beef, and the beef is really tender and goes beautifully with the wasabi dressing. Since I was only eating half, I didn't pour on all the dressing and dipped instead. For Hani's, I drizzled on a perilla oil soy dressing I'd made myself and served it with a soft-boiled egg as a dinner side.
The chicken seems to be breast meat, but it's incredibly tender. It's a Cobb salad, so I poured the dressing over it and scooped it up with a spoon. Next time I eat in at Prepers, I want to try the pasta and the curry too.
