I was looking for a bakery café in Suwon and ended up at Cork Bake Bar, where both the vibe and the bread won me over. It's a bakery café in Yeongtong, Suwon, famous for its salt bread and all kinds of baked sweets. I go to bakery cafés a lot, and I was curious what Suwon had to offer, so here I am.

Where do you park at Cork Bake Bar?

There is parking, but you have to use the back-alley parking lot. I didn't know and parked on the side of the building, but the back-alley lot is the one you're supposed to use.

Cork Bake Bar interior and seating

The inside of Cork Bake Bar blends cream tones and wood tones nicely. Red accents bring the space to life, and the little props dotted around are so cute that it's a great spot for photos.

Personally, seating matters as much as the bread in a café, and here the tables are spaced well and nothing feels cramped. It felt fine to come alone on a bread tour of Suwon, too.

What bread does Cork Bake Bar have?

The display at Cork Bake Bar had a wide range of bakery items. They were all under covers, which I liked for hygiene.

They had the trendy wakppu salt bread, and they were selling mango sando and orange sando (fruit sandwiches) too!

Cork Bake Bar americano and bread taste

I also ordered an iced americano at Cork Bake Bar, and it came out quickly. It had no sourness and was nutty, so it went well with the bread.
