What can you see on a rainy-day indoor date?

It suddenly started pouring during my trip to Jeju, so I looked for an indoor attraction and visited Figure Museum Jeju (피규어뮤지엄제주). I had followed Marvel movies since I was young, so I was interested, and I found not only action figures but also life-size movie and game characters. After looking around the exhibits and taking photos with the props, it became one of the memorable places from my trip.

Where is it, and what are parking and bus access like?

The address is 243 Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju, South Korea (제주 서귀포시 안덕면 한창로 243). I searched for Figure Museum Jeju in my navigation app and followed it there. By bus, it is listed as a one-minute walk from Sumbinari Bus Stop and a four-minute walk from Sangchang Intersection Bus Stop. At the time of the original post, the hours were 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

There was a spacious parking area in front of the building. The beige walls had a sign and a large banner, making the building easy to spot from a distance.

How much is admission, and what is the museum like inside?

At the main building entrance, a large Buzz Lightyear and toy soldiers caught my eye first. The entrance gate was decorated with neon lights, creating the feeling of entering a spaceship or secret base.

Admission was ₩14,000 for adults, ₩12,000 for teenagers, and ₩10,000 for children, seniors, and visitors with disabilities, based on the original post dated Aug 30, 2026. Children 24 months and younger enter free with supporting documents, and groups of 20 or more were listed as eligible for a discount.

The museum was generally dark, with spotlights on the figures that brought out their details. Every glass display case was packed with pieces, and each section had a different color scheme. The One Piece exhibit had a bright atmosphere with mint, white, and yellow display cases and wanted posters from the anime attached to the walls.

The exhibition route I followed was wide enough to look manageable for strollers and wheelchairs.

What stood out in the Marvel and DC exhibits?

Marvel and DC characters appeared from the beginning of the exhibition. The Hall of Armor, where Iron Man suits were displayed by mark number, was especially memorable. I could compare several suits in one place, and the lighting made it easy to examine their details.

The DC display cases featured Batman, Superman, and the Joker. It was fun to look for how the same characters had changed over the years.

There was also a space where visitors could try on superhero weapons and helmets. I held Iron Man and Thanos hand-shaped props and took photos. The children trying them beside me also looked like they were having fun.

On the second floor, I saw a life-size Batmobile. It was so large that I wondered how they had brought it into the exhibition hall.

Can you try anything in the Star Wars exhibit?

There was a separate space dedicated to Star Wars. I continued enjoying the visit by looking for exhibits from familiar films.

You could also try a lightsaber here. I liked that, in addition to viewing the exhibits, I could handle some of the props myself.

Are there animation exhibits to see with children?

Toward the end of the exhibition, I encountered animation characters such as Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Frozen. After the hero exhibits, the atmosphere changed as if I had entered a fairy tale, and I looked around while remembering my own childhood.

I saw many families traveling with children. Adults as well as children seemed to enjoy taking photos in front of the characters.

What are the figure shop and annex like after the main building?

There was a figure shop at the end of the route through the main building. In my view, the prices felt more reasonable than I expected, so I thought it could be a good place to choose a souvenir from Jeju.

After looking around the main building, I also visited the annex. Its colorful log-built exterior looked like a cabin in the woods, and Spider-Man hanging from the roof caught my eye. Inside, it was full of Mazinger Z figures, and an old Mazinger Z animation was playing on a TV to one side.

The annex had a retro atmosphere different from the main building, so I found it interesting through the end. At first, I expected it to be simply a collection of figures, but the variety of characters and the scale of the exhibits were broader than I expected. There were many places to take photos, so it would be helpful to arrive with your phone fully charged.
