Jeju indoor attraction with Marvel exhibits: Figure Museum Jeju

During my trip to Jeju, I wanted to visit somewhere different from the usual beaches and cafés, so I stopped by Figure Museum Jeju (피규어뮤지엄제주). At first, I wondered how entertaining it could be simply to look at figures, but there was more to see than I expected, from small figures to large character displays and photo spots.

Before visiting, I thought it would be worth comparing Naver booking options with the Jeju Pass discount. At the time, the information also said that booking through Naver came with two face masks.

Which movie characters can you see in the main building?

I bought a ticket, received a wristband, and went inside. Doctor Strange caught my eye first at the entrance, and the figures were better made than I expected. It was fun to look at the figures one by one, with their different sizes.

Further inside were familiar movie characters from Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, and more. It was nice to see characters I had watched on screen recreated as figures with a real sense of scale. Up close, I could examine details such as their expressions, clothes, and poses.

Which spaces in the Marvel zone are good for photos?

The first-floor area that stood out most to me was the main Marvel zone. The space decorated around a Stark workshop concept was especially memorable. It felt like stepping into a movie set, making it a good place to take photos, and it should catch the eye of anyone who likes Iron Man.

Are there characters worth seeing with children?

There were characters I watched when I was young, such as Dragon Ball, along with a huge Shrek. Frozen characters were also on display, so it seemed suitable for looking around with young children. For adults, it was fun to rediscover familiar characters.

What is in the gift shop and annex?

There is a gift shop after you leave the main building’s exhibits. It had a wide range of goods, including character plush toys, keyrings, miscellaneous items, and mugs.

Beyond the main exhibition hall, there was also an annex exhibition space. The annex focused mainly on figures from older animations and characters, giving it a slightly different feel from the main building. I looked for familiar characters such as Super Mario, Evangelion, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, The Matrix, and Minions, which brought back memories.

Is it worth visiting as a rainy-day indoor stop in Jeju?

Time passed quickly as I followed the exhibits and took photos. I felt it would suit people who like Marvel or figures, as well as anyone who wants to take photos with characters. It was also a place worth considering for a Jeju trip with children or when looking for an indoor attraction on a rainy day.
