Whenever we travel to Jeju, one of the children asks to go back, so I have visited Figure Museum Jeju (피규어뮤지엄제주) more than four times. This time, I went with a fourth-grader and a fifth-grade niece. Since you can view character exhibits indoors and take photos with props, it is a place I think of when looking for somewhere to go with children on a rainy day.
Where is it, and how much was admission with a reservation?
Figure Museum Jeju is at 243 Hanchang-ro, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo, Jeju, South Korea. Based on the original post written on Sep 3, 2026, Naver reservation admission was ₩12,600 for adults and ₩9,000 for children.
At the entrance, there was a space where we could take photos with Toy Story characters. At the time of our visit, a Naver reservation let each person choose one mask, and the children all chose Forky.
Which figures and props were on the first floor?
The first floor mainly displayed famous movie characters, including Bruce Lee, Marvel characters, and Spider-Man. Many of the figures looked rare to me, and every time I visited, I wondered how they had been collected.
Compared with my previous visits, I liked that there were places throughout the museum where we could use props for photos. I put on gloves that looked like the Infinity Gauntlet from the Marvel films and posed for a picture.
Which characters did the children like on the second floor?
The second floor had life-size movie characters from Batman, Star Wars, and other films. Standing beside the characters for photos made it feel as if we had stepped into a scene from a movie.
The movie characters near the front might have been unfamiliar to the children, but the animation section that followed had characters they knew, including Frozen and Disney princesses. The new Stitch photo zone was the child’s favorite this time. We took photos in front of a large Stitch model while wearing Stitch hats.
How did we take photos in the One Piece section?
My fifth-grade niece was delighted as soon as she saw the One Piece section. There were several figures and photo zones, and this time there were also props, such as a straw hat, that helped us capture the characters’ atmosphere. They made taking photos more fun.
How much did we spend at the goods shop and random draw?
There was a goods shop on the way out after the exhibits. For the products I compared, I felt there was not a big difference from the lowest online prices. We planned to buy only one or two items, but after choosing with the children, we spent about ₩60,000 this time.
There were also random draws on the way down. At the time of our visit, we could draw a figure worth about ₩4,000 for half price.
Was the annex worth exploring with children?
The annex was small, but it was filled with characters children might like, including Cardcaptor Sakura, Doraemon, Pokémon, and Harry Potter. We spent more than 30 minutes looking around the annex alone. Even after finishing the main building, there were many characters that caught the children’s interest.
