Gwacheon hair salon gray root dye matched to old color: Juno Hair
In short
Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station is a hair salon on the 2nd floor of the Burger King building at Exit 11 of Government Complex Gwacheon Station in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi. The writer had a root dye to cover growing gray hair. The designer mixed the color to match the existing dye so closely that no one could tell whether it was a root dye or a full-head dye, and the care was thorough, from the consultation chart to the scalp massage. Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station is worth recommending if you want gray roots dyed to blend seamlessly with your current color.

Where is Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station?
Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station (준오헤어 과천청사역점) is on the 2nd floor of the Burger King building you see as you come out of Exit 11 of Government Complex Gwacheon Station. I really don't like dyeing my hair, but at my age the gray keeps creeping in, so I went for a root touch-up at Juno Hair, known as the Gwacheon salon for hair consulting.

It's a government complex station, so there are lots of office workers and plenty of Gwacheon Foreign Language High School students around, and the whole neighborhood felt lively and really classy. Juno Hair has that classy vibe too, with a stylish sign.

Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and it's right on your left, so it's very easy to find! It looks chic from the outside, and the overwhelmingly pretty pink interior caught my eye right away.

What is the consultation chart at Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station like?
Before your treatment, you fill out a consultation chart in the waiting area, which is also prettily decorated. It asks how you came to Juno Hair, which service you're getting, whether you have a style in mind, your hair concerns, your appearance concerns, how you care for your hair at home and so on. It really felt like a proper consultation.

I filled in my chart in the waiting area too. True to a salon that offers hair consulting, it even asks whether you'd like a quiet session or explanations during the treatment, which shows the attention to detail.

Like a hotel safe, you set a password on a personal locker, store your bag and belongings, and then head in for the treatment.

What is the atmosphere at Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station?
The café-like interior with green scenery outside the windows is impressive. Juno Hair's interiors really are well done! Are those windows picture frames?! The lush green view was healing for my eyes. I wondered, were there such pretty trees out there when I looked from the street? I couldn't tell whether I'd come to a café or a hair salon, the mood was so nice.

There's a message hanging in the salon.
Being "good enough" is not what we call skill. "We notice the discomfort customers don't mention." Whoever you leave yourself with, the skill and attitude must be the same. That is Juno!!!
Wow~~~ as a customer, that's a really touching line. Throughout my treatment I could actually feel that Juno Hair rule at work.

Cut prices and events at Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station
There are various styling cuts on the menu, and the basic cut is cheaper if you book through Naver. The prices in the photo look steep, but the cuts shown there are premium care cuts, so keep that in mind!!

A summer event was running too. I took a photo in case anyone is interested in the products.

They offered me a drink as soon as I sat down. I'd already downed a huge coffee at the Starbucks on the 1st floor, so I asked for water.

Even the water was served prettily. I felt treated like a valued guest. But why does the water taste so good too? Haha, must be my imagination.

How was the gray-hair root dye matched to the existing color?
My designer mixed the dye to be as close as possible to the color I'd had before and applied it carefully to the roots. My gray hair sits in a spot where it really shows, so the root dye was urgent.

After the dye finished processing, I rinsed it out in the private shampoo room with a refreshing scalp massage. The massage felt so good that my head felt clear afterward.

How did the root dye turn out?
The root dye blended into my existing color so naturally that you couldn't tell if it was root dye or full dye. Here's the after look, styled with a blow-dry by my golden-handed designer.

It's amazing how perfectly the color matched, so you can't tell root dye from full dye!! I'd call my designer a color connoisseur. She matched the roots and the rest of my hair so naturally that I was really satisfied.
After dyeing, my hair actually looked shinier and softer, and it clearly looked cared for. You really feel the difference that good dye and careful work make in the details!!

It was another day that reminded me that as you age, looking well-off starts not with expensive clothes but with glossy hair. The gap between people who take care of themselves and those who don't comes from small details like hair condition. Let's keep investing in our hair so we can look 5 years younger. Thank you to my designer for nailing the color, and since Juno Hair Gwacheonchungsa Station offers discounts for Naver bookings, book before you go!
