Jeonpo pork BBQ: seolhasal & kotdeungsal combo, Dwitdon Sanghoe
In short
Dwitdon Sanghoe, Jeonpo Branch is a pork BBQ restaurant in Jeonpo-dong, Busanjin, Busan, where you pick and grill special pork cuts yourself. The Dwitdon Combo Set (6 special cuts plus pork skin and tail) delivered chewy seolhasal (meat from under the tongue) and kotdeungsal (snout meat), and nutty, richly flavored ppolsal (cheek) and dwittongsal (back of the head). Piling the grilled pork onto the bibim noodles (spicy mixed noodles) from the free side dishes cut the richness completely. Here's the menu and pricing info for this Jeonpo pork BBQ spot. There are solid, well-put-together set menus, plus à la carte cuts and rice dishes broken out separately.

Side dishes down to bibim noodles and tofu kimchi
They started us off with side dishes — ssamjang, kimchi, scallion salad, garlic, pickled onion. I was so happy they also brought out bibim noodles (spicy cold noodles) and tofu kimchi as part of the side dishes. The quality of even the basic side dishes was excellent — perfect as a drinking snack too!

What's in the Dwitdon Combo Set?
We ordered the Dwitdon Combo Set. It comes with 6 kinds of specialty cuts plus skin and tail. This specialty-cut restaurant looks mouthwatering from the visual alone.

I loved being able to try so many different cuts in one set — honestly, there wasn't a single cut that tasted bad. I'd recommend this set menu for anyone trying specialty cuts for the first time!

How were the seolhasal and kotdeungsal?
They put the slightly fattier cuts on the grill first. The meat looked fresh from the start, with nice marbling, and it ended up even more savory and delicious than I expected, haha.

We tossed some sliced mushrooms on the grill too, and they cooked up in the meat's savory rendered fat, adding great depth of flavor. Seolhasal and kotdeungsal had this springy, chewy texture that was also savory and tender — so delicious! Anyone who likes specialty cuts will absolutely love this savory pork flavor.

Ppolsal, dwittongsal and the other cuts were also chewy with a clean, savory meaty aroma that just spread through the mouth — so good. The subtle richness of the fat made it even better. Such a great Jeonpo-dong pork BBQ find.

Meat with bibim noodles: a perfect combo
I piled a piece of meat on top of the bibim noodles and ate them together — absolute heaven ..♥ Meat and bibim noodles really never fails as a combo. The sweet-and-tangy kick of the noodles completely cut through any richness from the meat, and the balance was just spot on, haha.

The pork skin was also super chewy and delicious.
If you're looking for a Jeonpo-dong pork BBQ spot, a Jeonpo pork belly favorite, I recommend Dwitdon Sanghoe in Jeonpo, where you can enjoy savory, flavorful meat that's just bursting with juice ★ After this Jeonpo-dong pork BBQ meal, I even stopped by a Jeonpo-dong dessert spot afterward — a perfectly satisfying day from dinner to dessert :)
