Gwangalli meat restaurant, galbisal in a 2nd-floor room: Donbegi

Donbegi Gwang-an Branch is an aged-pork barbecue restaurant near Sea Land in Minrak-dong, Gwangalli, Busan, with table seating on the first floor and private rooms at every table on the second. The writer went with her father-in-law and ordered snowflake ogeopsal (thin-sliced pork belly) and yangnyeom galbisal (seasoned rib meat), which staff charcoal-grilled from start to finish, then shared a 5,500-won doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew) between three adults. Her father-in-law said Donbegi's aged yangnyeom galbisal beat the seasoned galbi he had eaten recently at twice the price.
