What is Le Garden Bleu, and why did we go?

Le Garden Bleu is a Western restaurant on the ground floor of KT&G Sejong Tower A in Eojin-dong, Sejong. There are lots of clothing shops in the KT&G tower, so I go there fairly often, and this time we shopped and then had dinner at Le Garden Bleu too, haha! Here's my Eojin-dong date-spot info!

Where is Le Garden Bleu, and where do you park?

Le Garden Bleu is on the ground floor of the Nike building (KT&G Sejong Tower A), across from H&M and next to SPAO, so it was easy to find!! When you step out into what looks like a central plaza, I could see Le Garden Bleu right away! For parking, just use the building's underground car park.

What is the atmosphere like at Le Garden Bleu?

There's an open kitchen right as you walk in, which is reassuring, and you can see inside well. The ceiling is high, so it felt airy and comfortable! With the floor-to-ceiling windows it's bright and clean!! The space is big too, so it seems good for a group lunch gathering with colleagues!

How do you book Le Garden Bleu?

You can book Le Garden Bleu through Naver, and I reserved on Naver too and went around dinner time. You can really feel the days getting longer now. For a family meal or an important occasion, I recommend booking on Naver!

What did we order at Le Garden Bleu?

We ordered the cheddar cheese rigatoni bolognese pasta (₩16,500) and the spicy tomato seafood risotto (₩18,000). We both like spicy food, so we ordered everything spicy, haha!

Doesn't it look really delicious? The presentation is amazing.. I recommend it as an Eojin-dong date course!!! There's no girl who doesn't like pasta! They say Le Garden Bleu makes every sauce they use from scratch!! And what does that mean? It means this is healthy pasta with no food additives at all~~

Is the spicy tomato seafood risotto very spicy?

The spicy tomato seafood risotto at Le Garden Bleu is marked as spicy, but it wasn't actually very hot!! I think it's thanks to the tomato sauce!? It's a mildly spicy flavor even spice wimps can handle! They say it's a risotto built on seafood like shrimp, mussels and clams, with cod added.

Watching the video, you can tell there's a whole scoopful of seafood in it. When I first saw it, it didn't look like a big portion, but once I scooped in, there was really quite a lot, I tell you!!

The shrimp are nice and big too. I absolutely loved this tangy, slightly spicy flavor! The doneness of the rice grains, the texture, was good too, haha! Corkage is also allowed at Le Garden Bleu, so it'd be so nice to have a glass of good wine here on an important anniversary.

Is the cheddar cheese rigatoni bolognese too heavy?

I ordered the cheddar cheese rigatoni bolognese spicy, and the spice cut right through the richness of the cheese, so it wasn't heavy at all. The menu says it was inspired by the flavor of a cheeseburger and made healthy and tasty, so I thought, a cheeseburger? Oh, that sounds good, and ordered it! The pasta is rigatoni rather than ordinary pasta noodles, so it's fun to eat and fun to look at too!

Hey hey hey, see that golden-brown cheddar? I think they used a torch on the cheese..!! Nice. I thought it'd be heavy because of the cheese, but not at all!! My husband said it was really delicious, haha!

How was Le Garden Bleu as an Eojin-dong dinner date?

The two of us scraped the pasta and risotto plates clean, haha! You can't even imagine how much we enjoyed it, right? Haha! We walked out patting our bellies, haha! It's been a long time since I had such good Western food, haha!
