Balsan Station chicken pub with free soju in your beer: Daily Beer

I finally had chimaek (chicken and beer) at Daily Beer again after ages~~~ Did you know the chicken at Daily Beer (Saenghwal Maekju) is really good? The Balsan Station branch I visited this time even has outdoor tables, which made it even more fun.

Daily Beer (Saenghwal Maekju) Balsan Station Branch is at 89 Magokjungang 6-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, New Golden Tower, 1st floor, Unit 106. It is open 17:00–02:00 Sunday to Thursday (last order 01:00) and 17:00–03:00 on Friday and Saturday (last order 02:00). Parking is free for 4 hours, and reservations are possible.

It's only a 3-minute walk from Balsan Station, so it was super close. The whole area is full of restaurants and bars, so it seems good for a first round or a second round. I had dinner elsewhere and came here for round two!!!

What's the atmosphere inside Daily Beer Balsan?

Inside there were about 5–6 tables, and the hip vibe is great for drinking. They play videos on the screen, and best of all you can see the whole kitchen, and it looked clean, which was reassuring.

You can order the chicken bone-in, boneless or as wings and drumsticks, which rivals a proper chicken specialist???? Honestly, it had been so long since I'd been to Daily Beer that I had no idea the menu was this big.

There's a wide variety of sides for when you're full~~~ And unlike some other places, you can order just sides, which is the best!!!

What we ordered and prices: Angry Bird half-and-half ₩25,000, Jjinja 500 ₩5,500

My partner and I ordered half Angry Bird Red and half Angry Bird Black (₩25,000) plus Jjinja 500 (₩5,500), and we kept ordering more Jjinja 500... ^_^ With such tasty food, I can't stop the beer...

Angry Bird Red vs Black: which tasted better?

The chicken took about 20 minutes. Just when I was wondering when it would come, it arrived, and one look at it told me it was worth the wait haha. The pieces are big and the coating looks super crispy, right?

Angry Bird Red is spicy yangnyeom (sweet-spicy glazed) chicken and Angry Bird Black is soy garlic chicken, and both were honestly... better than a chicken restaurant T_T Since it was half-and-half, we got one drumstick of each flavor! For reference, Red isn't very spicy, so anyone could enjoy it. Both were great, but if I have to pick one, Black wins! I recommend Black > <

I love how generous the sauce is... The flavor is good, but the chicken itself tasted delicious and fresh. The meat was really plump and tender. Juicy and soft through and through!

The chicken looks insane, right...? Since this was our second round, I wondered if we could finish it all, but the chicken was so good that we just kept ordering more soju-mixed Jjinja 500. It went down even better~~~

Is Daily Beer Balsan Station Branch worth going back to?

The weather was cool, the vibe was nice~ and with great chicken and somaek, my partner and I chatted for ages. I enjoyed Daily Beer so much this time that I think I'll be craving it again soon. When chimaek calls, let's run to Daily Beer.
