Hohobak injeolmi comes in three flavors: rice kasutera pumpkin injeolmi, mugwort kasutera injeolmi, and black sesame kasutera injeolmi — I went with pumpkin injeolmi. There's also Hohobak milk, which pairs really well, and apparently that's handmade too!

I tried it last time and it was so freaking good ~ 🎃 the pumpkin flavor was super rich

There was no set menu when I came before, but it seems like this is new. The Hohobak So-So SET is pumpkin injeolmi (small) + Hohobak milk (250ml). If this were near my house I'd buy it every day ㅠ

Can you order Hohobak injeolmi as gifts or in bulk?

Hohobak also offers neat bojagi (traditional wrapping cloth) gift wrapping, so it'd be great as a present or thank-you gift. Bulk orders are possible too — when I visited, someone was buying a 15-piece set.

Small vs large pumpkin injeolmi: what's the difference?

This time I packed two: a small and a large rice kasutera pumpkin injeolmi haha

It was so hot I thought it would spoil fast, so as soon as I got home I dove into the rice cake before even eating a real meal (I wanted to eat it in the car but held back so I wouldn't spill powder everywhere ㅠ)

The small size is genuinely mini. It comes with a fork inside, so it's easy to eat in the car, and it'd be perfect as a snack to hand to kids one at a time!

The large comes in a plastic bag lol. There's so-- much that finishing it in one sitting is unrealistic. Off to the freezer it goes? ✔️ It tastes best the day you buy it, but leftovers keep well frozen and can be thawed at room temperature before eating

The large size came with hygiene gloves instead of a fork, so I could scoop and eat to my heart's content

How Hohobak's pumpkin injeolmi tastes fresh in the morning

That fluffy, crumbly texture of pumpkin injeolmi.. 💛 They open at 8am, and I went to pick it up in the morning, so the rice cake was still warm — at its best! It's loaded with so much kasutera crumb that you almost want to eat that part separately. Even better honestly >___< it melts in your mouth ~

The rice cake is chewy but not too big, so I'd pop about two at a time lolol. I gave some to my mom last time and she said it was delicious, so I brought her some again today and she loved it! Pumpkin injeolmi that fits older palates perfectly too
