Meda Bag rattan bag colors: brown or beige?

The Meda Bag rattan bag comes in two colors, brown and beige, and I picked the brighter beige. Vacation was coming up soon and I'd been thinking I wanted a bag with that full summer feel — and then the Meda Bag rattan bag showed up!

When you're torn on bag color, it helps to think about what colors you usually wear and what bag colors you reach for most often. I first thought about getting brown, but reconsidering my usual outfit style, I figured the brighter beige would suit me better, so that's what I chose haha.

A single keyring transforms the first impression

Opened the package and out came the cute rattan bag! On its own, it just felt like a big, practical, lightweight rattan bag, but once I attached the keyring that came with it, it instantly turned into an adorable bag lol.

It's so light for its size, and the design drapes in a feminine, not-clunky way, so it'll go well with everything from casual clothes to workout gear to dresses!

Inner pocket and zipper: great storage for a peddler like me

I'm the type who carries all sorts of stuff around even normally, and especially while traveling — a total peddler — so I really loved how much storage this Meda Bag rattan bag has 🤍 A bag that holds this much and still doesn't feel stuffy or heavy in summer — amazing!

There's also an inner pocket for separating items, which is super convenient, and the fact that it zips all the way around means you can keep your belongings safely stored — a huge plus.

A weekend nearing 40°C, resort look with the rattan bag

Comfort is king in summer! On a weekend that hit nearly 40°C ^_^ you just have to dress resort-style. Threw on comfy clothes, grabbed the Meda Bag rattan bag, and it matched perfectly.

Reality is I'm just standing in my own front hallway, but if you only look at my outfit, wouldn't you think it's a Southeast Asia travel look haha. Gotta dress and carry it like this when I go to Chiang Mai 🤭

No matter how many times I look, that keyring is such a total accent point lol. The rattan weave is also sturdy so durability seems good. Nothing frayed and the weave is tight, which I liked — and it doesn't feel scratchy even against bare skin!

Went out on the weekend, had dinner, and came outside — my boyfriend said the sky looked pretty and it gave off resort vibes, so he took some photos lol. Suddenly going home felt like such a shame...?

Storage and durability test: an E-mart grocery run

Such a genuinely pretty and cute summer bag 🤍 It was too late in the evening for a café and too hot to just take a walk outside, so we decided to go on a date to the nearby E-mart ^_^ I wasn't originally planning to go to E-mart, but I had an E-mart gift card from a friend — and honestly, for a married couple's summer date spot, the grocery store is the best lol.

Alright, time to test the storage capacity and durability~~ Bought a bunch of snacks, some No Brand items, a melon, watermelon!!! haha. We usually go to Costco or Lotte Mart, so coming to E-mart felt fresh and fun.

We bought quite a lot, but the Meda Bag rattan bag's storage capacity was so good that everything fit lol. I thought about just packing it moderately and zipping it up, but...

Down to the very last bag of snacks...!!! In total it held 3 bags of snacks, 10 ice creams, a melon, and 2 meal kits ^_^ I worried the strap might give out with the melon in there, but it held together really stably??? If you're worried something might spill in the car, just pack it moderately and zip it up — that should do it!

A summer market bag and resort bag in one

Maybe because I'm a homemaker, it's a gorgeous bag for travel, but as someone who shops at the grocery store often, carrying a market bag inside my bag — this rattan bag means I don't have to bring a separate market bag in summer, and I still get to look stylish while doing it.

You can rock the resort vibe even in everyday life!! Heading to Yangyang this week, so I'll finally get to use it outside my own neighborhood. Gonna pack swimsuits and everything and head to the beach >.<
