MagSafe stand for iPhone and iPad: 비티냐 rotating stand

I needed a stand for watching videos or video-call screens and checking recipes while cooking. While looking for one that adjusted easily and did not take up much space, I tried the 비티냐 360° Rotating MagSafe Magnetic Stand.

What features and accessories does it have?

This stand rotates 360 degrees, adjusts in height, and folds away when not in use. It supports MagSafe, and a magnet is included so Galaxy users can use it too. There is also a wrench for adjusting the joint tension, but be careful: tightening it too much can cause damage.

Does it stay stable when you touch the screen?

I was surprised that it felt heavier than I expected when I first picked it up. The base and joints felt sturdy, and there was hardly any wobbling when I set an iPhone or tablet on it, touched the screen, or changed the angle. It also stayed well balanced on the desk.

The surface had a matte finish. I also liked that its design did not stand out too much on my desk.

Did it hold an iPhone with a case securely?

When I brought my iPhone close, it snapped onto the magnet. It held securely in both portrait and landscape, and MagSafe worked well even with the case I was using on.

Whether I was checking a recipe while cooking or watching a video beside the bed, changing the angle hardly ever made me feel as though the magnet would come loose.

Is switching between landscape and portrait convenient?

I could change the screen orientation by turning it with my hand without removing the device. That was convenient for video calls, watching YouTube, video meetings, and online classes, whenever I needed a different orientation. It was not too loose while rotating and stopped at the position I wanted, so it felt stable.

Is it good for adjusting desk height and folding away?

At a low height, it was nice to use in front of the keyboard. Raising it to eye level made my neck feel less uncomfortable. I could fold it up for storage when I was not using it, and its folded size did not feel burdensome to carry in a bag.

What was it like using with both an iPhone and tablet?

It stayed well balanced with a tablet on it as well as an iPhone, so I could use it for watching videos or reading e-books. I also used it to prop up an iPad for videos. It was useful for a tablet at home and an iPhone when I went out.

The features I used most were the rotation and height adjustment. They were convenient for watching videos or checking recipes when I often changed the screen angle, and it was fine to keep it set up on my desk and fold it up to carry when needed.
