Why I looked for a MagSafe mount instead of my old car phone mount

After recently switching my phone case to a MagSafe case, I started looking into car phone mounts. The mount I had been using had a weak neck, so it would not stay fixed properly or attach securely, which made it not very useful. When do you use the magnetic ring and circular pad?

When I opened the box, everything was neatly packed, with just the essentials included—very thoughtful. There was the 비티냐 MagSafe mount, a magnetic ring, a circular pad, and a manual, plus wet and dry wipes so you can clean the attachment area before use. Use the magnetic ring if you have an iPhone 11 series or earlier, or a smartphone or case from another maker such as Samsung or Xiaomi. If the surface is uneven, or if the mount does not adhere well somewhere such as a car dashboard, attach the circular pad first and then suction the mount onto it.

Things to check before attaching it

The product guide explained the precautions and how to use it in detail, so I could get familiar with it. It says not to clean it with detergent or use it in high-temperature or corrosive environments. Also, it cannot attach to rough, curved, or uneven materials such as leather, fabric, and walls, so it should be used on a surface that is as flat and smooth as possible.

360-degree rotation and foldable angle adjustment

The MagSafe section of the mount has a soft finish and strong magnetism, so it held my phone securely.

It rotates 180 degrees for angle adjustment, so it was convenient to freely stand the mount up or lay it down.

The suction section has a vacuum-suction dial: turn it from OPEN to TIGHT to create suction. Its magnetic holding force is 1.5 kg, so I could use it as a phone or tablet mount, even with a heavier phone.

Testing the suction on my desk as well as in the car

After actually using the MagSafe mount, I found that it adhered firmly whether I put it on the floor, a desk, or in the car.

I tried attaching the phone mount to my computer desk, and it held my phone quite firmly, which made it convenient to use.

I adjusted the angle freely, and it was convenient because I could attach it anywhere and mount my phone. It is not only for the car—wherever it can attach, you can also use it like a tripod for taking photos.

I usually keep my phone mounted while working at my computer, and it was handy that I could attach and remove it on any flat surface.

A foldable mount worth packing for travel

I recommend the 비티냐 MagSafe mount for its useful 360-degree rotation and foldable design, plus its MagSafe function and vacuum suction that make attaching and removing it easy. It was also nice as a foldable car phone mount to bring along when traveling. :)
