Why I looked for a coating agent for dull diamond paintings

I have some diamond paintings that I got completely obsessed with making about four years ago!

I finished a total of three pieces, gave one to someone I know, and only had two left at home lol. But they seemed to be gradually losing their shine and the colors looked a little faded, so I searched it up—and there was such a thing as diamond painting coating agent?! Ordered it right away lol.

This is the large-size Hasi Diamond Painting Coating Agent, and it even comes with a silicone brush! Since it is large and includes the silicone brush, I can use it multiple times!!

It is a huge 247ml size and can be used with the silicone brush!! It is said to preserve the shine of finished diamond paintings and keep them firmly stored for a long time!! The surface is said to dry in 30 minutes to an hour, and full setting takes 24 hours. I think you can just apply it and leave it alone lol. I also liked the packaging—it is kind of pretty lol.

It also meets strict standards for water-based PVA material, so it can be used with children too!!! It is not only for diamond paintings; it can also be used on puzzles, photos, paper, and wood, so it is super versatile!

Is the silicone brush easy to use?

The silicone brush is really nicely made and fits right into my hand lol. Since it is silicone, it does not leave brush marks and can be reused, so I think it would be so great for people like me who have two pieces to do.

Remove the inner seal under the red cap, then twist it like that and it is ready to use.

Applying it directly to my Ariel diamond painting

First up, my Ariel diamond painting~

It was my first time doing this, so I was a little timid and squeezed out just a little to start lol. Once I tried it, it was so easy and convenient. I can finish two pieces in no time, right??

A bolder application than before lol. I squeezed out a generous line and spread it evenly with the silicone brush. I loved that I could see the shine come back right away!!

The more I did it, the bolder I got lol. Just squeeze out a big amount, swipe swipe swipe, and the shine comes back~

After applying the diamond painting coating agent evenly all over, it turned this sparkly!!

A second application on my Aladdin diamond painting

Now for the second piece~ This Aladdin diamond painting is so pretty when finished that I keep looking at it!

I had done it once, so somehow I got better in the meantime lol. Maybe I picked up a little know-how, because I finished it so quickly lol.

The white beads seemed to have gotten a little yellowedㅠㅠ so I focused a bit more on the white areas!!

After coating all of Aladdin too, it became even more sparkly!!! I love it~

How I dried them after applying it

I laid them out like this and let them dry nicely lol. I first left them alone for about two hours, then stood them against the wall to let them dry completely.

Overall thoughts

My diamond paintings that I worked so hard to finish ages ago! I was a little sad to see them losing their shine and colors fading, but I found this really great product called diamond painting coating agent!

It can be used not only on diamond paintings but also on puzzles, photos, paper, and wood, so it was incredibly versatile. The silicone brush is included too, which made it really convenient to use on all sorts of things!!

It can be used by children following strict testing, and because the formula does not run everywhere, it was nice and neat to apply. It was so convenient for bringing back the shine! If you want to add shine to and secure a diamond painting or puzzle like I did, I highly recommend Hasi Diamond Painting Coating Agent!!!
