I was looking for somewhere simple to grab lunch near Seoul Station and ended up at Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station. I went around lunchtime, and there were plenty of takeout and delivery orders along with a steady stream of people eating in.

Feeling very 'busy busy modern life, working hard' about myself, this was a good spot for a simple but filling meal.

Inside Grand Central B3: a roomy, comfortable space

The shop is on basement level 3 of Grand Central, right by Seoul Station Exit 4. It's easy to find — just take the escalator down twice and you're there.

The open layout has quite a lot of tables, so it felt more spacious and pleasant than I expected. A comfortable setup for eating alone, too.

Sandwich menu, from chicken breast to ham and egg

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station has a wide variety of sandwiches: chicken breast, jambon jalapeño, egg potato, tuna jalapeño, ham & egg, and mushroom grilled.

Every sandwich can be swapped to ciabatta bread. That said, the grilled cheese sandwich is baguette only, and the hot ham & cheese sandwich is ciabatta only, apparently. Nice that you can mix and match sandwich and bread to your taste.

Baguettes and side dishes

The baguette lineup is also unusual, with options like jambon pistachio, matcha tofu cream cheese, pistachio tofu cream cheese, Dubai matcha cream cheese, Dubai pistachio, honey butter, and cod roe, plus fall-season fig pistachio and fig matcha.

They also had scones and mushroom cream soup, which looked like a good way to turn a sandwich into a proper brunch.

How does the 11,900-won chicken breast sandwich taste?

I ordered the chicken breast sandwich for 11,900 won and an iced americano for 4,500 won.

I figured a chicken breast sandwich would be dry, but nope nope nope nope. Since it's finely chopped, it was moist and soft.

Wait why does the left side look like that lolololololol it looks like it's going up your nostril hahaha.

Sauces like whole grain mustard blended in so there was none of that usual bland or fishy chicken breast taste — it was savory and salty and easy to eat. And the onions in between cut through the richness and added texture. Good for getting your protein while enjoying a tasty, filling lunch.

Baguette texture: swap to ciabatta if your jaw tires

The baguette was crisp outside and chewy inside. Um,,, my jaw got a little sore as I kept eating,,,,,,

If you like this hard, rough texture you'll be fine, but if you're one of us old folks lol with sensitive teeth and gums, go for the softer ciabatta instead.

Rounding out lunch with an iced americano

For coffee I ordered an iced americano. Cool, nutty, and clean — I liked it. They said they use beans from Vision Stroll Yeonhui Roastery.

They also had vegan options like oat milk latte and sugar-free vanilla bean oat milk latte. Pairing a sandwich or baguette with one of the lattes would make for a pretty filling meal.

Final verdict on Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station

Dance Dance Dance Seoul Station is a solid Seoul Station brunch spot for when you want something simple yet filling. The chicken breast sandwich, with finely chopped chicken and house-made sauce, was moist and soft, and the baguette had a nice crisp-yet-chewy texture.

That said, chewing for a while can tire your jaw, so switch to ciabatta if you want something softer. With so many sandwich options and an unusual baguette lineup, I'd love to try other menu items next time.
