One thing I missed after switching from an iPhone to a Galaxy was MagSafe. The 비티냐 (비티냐) 360° Rotating MagSafe Phone Stand can hold a Galaxy with a MagSafe case or the included magnetic rings, so I gave it a try. I attached it to the MagSafe case I was already using.
What comes in the box, and how portable is it?
Delivery was fast and the packaging was neat. The box contained the stand itself, two magnetic rings, and a hex key.
It was about palm-sized and weighed around 190 g. Since it folds up, it was easy to put in a bag and did not feel too burdensome for me to carry around.
How did I attach it to a Galaxy?
With a regular case, you attach one of the included magnetic rings before mounting the phone. Since I use a MagSafe case, I did not need to attach a ring separately. The impressions below are from using it with the MagSafe case on.
Did it hold the heavy S23 Ultra securely?
I chose the Galaxy Ultra series for its camera features, but its weight could make my wrist hurt when I held it for a long time. With stands I had used before, the phone sometimes shook or even fell.
The 비티냐's magnet attached firmly and its support was strong, so it held my S23 Ultra steadily upright. It tilts 180° front to back and rotates 360° side to side, which made it easy to set a comfortable viewing angle at a desk or table.
How did I use it at my home and office desks?
At home and in the office, I used it beside my desk monitor. It is not a stick-on style, but its base was stable, so it did not wobble or slide while I used it.
Was it convenient when out with my child or eating alone?
I also brought it along when I went to cafés or restaurants with my child. With the phone standing on the table, my child could adjust the angle independently to a direction that was easy to see.
When I ate alone, it was convenient to watch content without holding my phone in my hand. Of the various stands I own, this one felt especially stable to use, so I found myself reaching for it often.
For my setup, I was pleased that I could keep it stable on a desk and fold it up to take out with me. Above all, it was most convenient to put down my heavy S23 Ultra and view it at the angle I wanted.
