Korean restaurant in Yeonje, Busan: bossam at Sinseon Myeonga
In short
Sinseon Myeonga is a Korean restaurant in Yeonje, Busan, serving house-made bibim-kalguksu and bossam. I ordered the ₩8,000 noodles and medium bossam; the tangy, spicy noodles paired well with the mild pork, though there was no dedicated parking.

On a weekend in Aug 2026, I had house-made bibim-kalguksu and bossam at Sinseon Myeonga (신선면가) in Yeonsan-dong, Busan. I wanted more than just noodles that day, and ordering the pork let me alternate between the two flavors. This meal was partially supported.

What can you choose besides kalguksu?

There were rice dishes as well as kalguksu, including octopus bibimbap and bulgogi bibimbap. Since you can choose between noodles and rice and order bossam alongside them, I thought it would be easy to visit with family or friends who have different menu preferences.

The staff's service also stayed with me. They responded warmly when I asked about the menu or made requests, so I felt comfortable throughout the meal.
That day, I chose the house-made bibim-kalguksu and medium bossam. I would like to try the standard anchovy kalguksu next time.

How much was the medium bossam, and how much did it serve?

The medium bossam was ₩37,000 and listed for 3–4 people. The portion on the plate was generous, with side dishes included, so I thought it would work well for sharing with several people.

On its own, the pork first tasted mild and savory. The lean meat had a light chew, while the pieces with a moderate amount of fat were tender and moist. I do not usually enjoy bossam when it is too dry, but the balance of lean meat and fat was good that day.

The flavor changed when I ate the pork alone or with the side dishes, so I changed the combination with each bite.

I especially liked the combination with bibim-kalguksu. The tangy, spicy seasoning added to the mild pork, so it did not feel greasy. Since the bossam was enough for several people to share, I was satisfied with the value.
What did the house-made bibim-kalguksu taste like?

The bibim-kalguksu was ₩8,000. Unlike kalguksu served in warm broth, this was a dish of noodles mixed with seasoning.

The house-made noodles had a chewy texture rather than breaking easily. The seasoning started sweet and tangy, followed by a spicy kick. It coated the noodles evenly, so the flavor was not bland while the noodle texture still came through.
After a bite of bossam, a bite of bibim-kalguksu made my mouth feel refreshed thanks to its tanginess. It was a good choice for a day when I wanted something different from the broth-based kalguksu I usually eat, and the price did not feel burdensome.

What were the weekend wait and parking like?
When I visited on a weekend in Aug 2026, I entered right away without waiting. However, that was my experience that day, and wait times may vary by visit time and circumstances.
There was no dedicated parking. If you are visiting by car, it would be best to check nearby parking in advance. The address is 26 Jungang-daero 1150beon-gil, 1F Unit 103, Yeonje-gu, Busan, South Korea.
