A Busan Station lunch spot I visited because I was craving pork cutlet.
Gyeongyangsik Dal and Sixpence
It's a pork cutlet place between Choryang Station and Busan Station, and I stopped by right before catching my KTX haha.

What kind of restaurant is Dal and Sixpence in Busan?
Gyeongyangsik Dal and Sixpence, a Busan Station lunch spot I'd recommend, is a Western-style Korean restaurant serving house-made sauces and crispy handmade pork cutlets. It's right between Choryang Station and Busan Station, so it's a great stop before catching a train.

The dining room is quite spacious, so it's fine for groups too — solo diners, dates, family meals, all work here without any awkwardness.

The storefront. Both takeout and delivery are available.

Here's the interior! Pretty spacious, right? Big enough for a group of students to eat here haha.

Clean, tidy interior — I bet it gets packed during weekday lunch hours.
Dal and Sixpence has been running since way back in 1985.

I grabbed a seat by the window. Paper cups and pepper on the table! Soup comes included, and a refill is ₩500.
Dal and Sixpence menu and prices
The menu runs around ₩11,000 for spicy pork cutlet, ₩12,500 for sweet potato cheese cutlet, and ₩8,000 for a soba on its own. There's a good range of options and prices are pretty reasonable!

Udon broth is self-serve, and soup refills are ₩500.

There's also a summer menu with cold buckwheat soba on ice! Soba alone is ₩8,000, and the set with half a cutlet plus soba is ₩12,000!

You order by scanning the QR code on the table! After some deliberation, I went with spicy pork cutlet (₩11,000) and sweet potato cheese cutlet (₩12,500).

The soup that comes standard. That classic cream soup flavor you get at old-school Korean pork cutlet joints!! Tastes exactly like the cream soup from school lunches back in the day lol.

Diced radish kimchi, spicy sauce, and rice arrived. Since the spicy cutlet let me choose sauce-on or sauce-on-the-side, I asked for it on the side so I could dip haha.

The cutlets showed up looking incredible...!! They said the cheese one takes a bit longer to fry, so I figured it'd be a while, but it actually came out pretty quickly!!
How was the sweet potato cheese cutlet (12,500 won)?
The sweet potato cheese cutlet is ₩12,500 — a plump cheese-stuffed cutlet topped generously with sweet potato mousse. The visuals on this thing are no joke...!!!
Such a gorgeous sight.... Sweet potato mousse plus cheese cutlet — if that combo isn't delicious, something's seriously wrong;;
I carefully cut into it with a knife, and wow, the cheese just came pouring out like a waterfall! Showing you the video too haha, I was losing my mind over that cheese pull.

The cheese is amazing, and the sweet potato mousse is amazing. And because it's from a proper pork cutlet restaurant, the crunch on the cutlet was on another level.

The cheese is... seriously unbelievably savory, and the sweet potato mousse is sweet and delicious haha. And now, let me share a trick for eating this even better!!!!!

The trick: pour the spicy sauce over the cheese cutlet
Order the regular cheese cutlet, then get extra spicy sauce and pour it right on top haha. Delicious plus delicious equals even more delicious!!

Whoa, this is genuinely so good >_<
How was the spicy pork cutlet (11,000 won)?
The spicy pork cutlet, ₩11,000, is Dal and Sixpence's signature Korean-style pork cutlet. It's been a while since I've had this kind lol. The size is huge!

A thin, crispy old-school-style cutlet haha. The meat is really tender with zero off-smell, and the batter is genuinely crunchy!!

Ordering the spicy sauce on the side to dip cut the richness of the cutlet perfectly! It's not too spicy either, so even people who can't handle heat well can enjoy it.
Ordering the combo with both cutlet and soba would also work great for eating solo lol. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a Busan Station lunch spot! Great for a quick, light meal before heading off~
