In short
Heukdwaeji Hyeongjedeul Gajeong Ruwon City Main Branch is a Jirisan black pork BBQ restaurant a 3-minute walk from Gajeong Station in Seohae, Incheon. Two friends ordered 400g of pork neck and 200g of ogyeopsal (five-layer pork belly) and received a full-size bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) free through the Naver receipt review event, plus complimentary steamed egg and muksabal (acorn jelly soup). Staff grill the pork neck over live charcoal until it has a steak-like texture, and the private group rooms make Heukdwaeji Hyeongjedeul an easy repeat for team dinners.

What two friends ordered: 400g pork neck + 200g ogyeopsal
My friend and I ordered pork neck 400g + pork belly 200g plus full-size bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles)~ You can get the full naengmyeon free through the Naver receipt review event!

A neat and clean basic table setting at this Ruwon City, Incheon restaurant. You can grab extra side dishes from the self-serve bar.

Free steamed egg soufflé and muksabal acorn jelly soup
The steamed egg soufflé made with four large eggs comes free! With such a high egg ratio, it's firm yet soft.

Another freebie: mukbap (acorn jelly soup) in cool dongchimi broth, apparently pricier because it's domestically sourced! Haha. À la carte it's ₩8,000 if you want to add one~
Jirisan black pork aged 7 days at low temperature

What makes Heukdwaeji Hyeongjedeul special is the 7-day aging of Jirisan black pork! Not regular pork — real Jirisan black pork! Every menu item — neck, belly, jowl — is low-temperature aged for 7 days, giving it a distinct sweetness, nuttiness, and juiciness the more you chew.
Staff grill every cut over live charcoal at your table

I was shocked seeing the thickness of the neck cut! It's on a whole different level from a regular BBQ place! You could clearly see how the aging process maximized the meat quality. Even the salt sprinkled on top is Sinan sun-dried sea salt!

The strong charcoal aroma makes the outside crispy and the inside juicy! Zero stress over grilling — staff grill it for you, so you can just relax and enjoy this Gajeong-dong, Incheon restaurant.

The thickly sliced black pork neck is grilled over intense charcoal heat, keeping the softness and juiciness of aged meat and delivering a steak-like flavor! It looks so good I'm getting dizzy!!
How do the 400g pork neck and 200g ogyeopsal taste?

The thick black pork neck had zero dryness — soft, moist texture with a beef-steak-like flavor that genuinely moved me. Since juices can escape and dry it out, it's best eaten as the owner serves it, but the pieces were so big we ended up cutting them ourselves! Haha.

Wrapped in wild garlic leaves, it's great! Dipped in melljeot (fermented anchovy sauce), it's clean without a strong fishy taste!

The black pork belly had a chewy texture and high-quality flavor — we couldn't decide between the two cuts, so we joked we should've ordered a 3-person portion even though there were only two of us~ Despite the early hour, the place was already packed, confirming this as a real Ruwon City, Incheon restaurant favorite.

Side dishes and the free bibim naengmyeon from the review event
There are side dishes to round out the meal beyond just meat. Gochujang jjigae (spicy paste stew), charcoal ramyeon, doenjang sulbap (soybean paste rice), and both water and spicy naengmyeon! We went with the clean, spicy bibim naengmyeon!

The bibim naengmyeon is made with a special sauce using countryside chili powder and lots of fruit. You order naengmyeon to wrap with meat, right?? Lol. Delicious things paired with delicious things — never fails!!
The owner's dedication to sparing no good ingredients really came through, and we left happy right to the end. If you're looking for a Gajeong-dong, Incheon restaurant or a Ruwon City, Incheon restaurant with private group rooms, head to Heukdwaeji Hyeongjedeul!
