This is Baekho Yangdaechang, an Isu-area gopchang (grilled intestines) spot so good I ended up ordering extra, then finished it off with yang bokkeumbap (rice fried with offal drippings).
I went to eat yang-daechang at Baekho Yangdaechang near Isu Station haha. I started with 2 servings of grilled yang-daechang, but as I ate I realized daechang was more my style, so I added one more 150g serving of just daechang. And the thickness of that daechang… 👀 it was thick and chewy and so good! Staff grilled everything for me so I could just eat comfortably, and at the end I ordered yang bokkeumbap too. It came with two fried eggs on top, and that was so good I had to show it to you too haha.
Baekho Yangdaechang menu and prices near Isu Station

This time I ordered 2 servings of grilled yang-daechang, 1 extra serving of grilled daechang, and 2 servings of yang bokkeumbap. The bokkeumbap could only be ordered in sets of 2.

Just a heads up — the ₩11,900 on the menu isn't a 1-serving price, it's for 2 servings! I didn't order everything from the start; I started with yang-daechang, added daechang along the way, and finished with the bokkeumbap haha.
Grilled yang-daechang, cooked by the staff at your table

First up, 2 servings of grilled yang-daechang! I started this way so I could try both yang (tripe) and daechang (small intestine) and add more of whichever I liked better. At Baekho Yangdaechang the staff grill everything for you, which I really appreciated — no need to flip it yourself and check if it's done, you just eat what they grill haha.
The yang was a bit of a new flavor for me, and between the two, daechang was more my taste. It was especially chewy, and once I started picking pieces off one by one I just wanted more lol. So I decided to add more daechang!
Adding a 150g daechang order: thick from the first bite
The extra daechang order was 150g for ₩15,900. I tried both together and daechang was tastier to me, so I added it, and I think I chose well haha.

You can see the thickness of the daechang…! It wasn't like picking at small bites — each piece was thick and really satisfying to eat. If you like chewy, thick daechang, you'll really love this part. It was genuinely delicious that day. Totally worth adding 🤤

If you're heading to eat yang-daechang near Isu Station and can't decide what to order, I'd say start with grilled yang-daechang and then add whichever part suits your taste. That's how I did it, and my preference for daechang became crystal clear haha.
Yang bokkeumbap for 2, with two fried eggs on top

Last up, yang bokkeumbap! Eating grilled meat and then finishing with fried rice just feels like a proper ending haha. The yang bokkeumbap was ₩11,900 for 2 servings, and you could only order it in sets of 2. When it arrived there were two fried eggs on top…! Having them on there just made it extra exciting 😚
And I loved the texture of the rice. It wasn't the style where the bottom gets crispy like nurungji (scorched rice) — it was light and fluffy! It was great to eat after the grilled meat, and the rice itself was so good my chopsticks kept going back for more haha. Some people love crispy pressed fried rice, but for me that day, this fluffy rice was the one. Thick daechang followed by fluffy fried rice topped with fried eggs — perfect ending!!! I didn't want to just mention the daechang, since the bokkeumbap was delicious too, so I wanted to recommend it alongside~!
Is Baekho Yangdaechang worth it? The order that worked best

The daechang was so good that day that I ended up ordering an extra serving mid-meal haha. Staff grilled everything from start to finish, which made things easy, and I finished it all off nicely with the delicious yang bokkeumbap! I think I'd order daechang and yang bokkeumbap again next time too!! If you're eating yang-daechang near Isu Station, feel free to reference the combo I went with :)
