Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch is a Korean BBQ restaurant in the Bangi-dong food alley of Songpa, Seoul, using a whole building from the basement up to the second floor. Three friends met here for a wedding-invitation gathering and ordered the Korean pork (handon) sampler set with added yukhoe (beef tartare) at a partitioned table on the first floor, where staff grilled the meat for them so everyone could focus on talking, and the portions were generous enough that no extra order was needed. For a quiet, long conversation, the private rooms at Yukmong Bangi Direct Branch are another option.

Bangi-dong late-night bar in Seoul: buldak omelette at 88 Nogari

88 Nogari Bangi Branch is a late-night bar in the Bangi-dong food alley in Songpa, Seoul, using the 2nd floor, 3rd floor and a rooftop with camping tables. After a meat dinner elsewhere, the writer went up around 7pm for round two, took a rooftop camping table and ordered buldak omelette (fire chicken omelette), semi-dried squid and a meokdae (dried pollack) set through Naver Order right at the table. In the cool weather of September and October the rooftop beats the indoor floors, but you need to arrive before 8pm to get a seat.
