In short

Some afternoons in Seongsu you just crave something sweet, right? Today I visited 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, already super famous as a soufflé spot among Seongsu cafés.
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, captured on an iPhone 15 Pro and an iPhone 6s
For this visit to 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch, I took photos with two phones in turns, an iPhone 15 Pro and an iPhone 6s. I wanted to make this post a little more special. Sometimes you miss the vintage color that only the old iPhone 6s has, more than the sharpness of the 15 Pro, don't you?

So this time I mixed the clean eye of the 15 Pro with the analog feel of the 6s to record the mood of 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch. With photos where the moods of the two phones blend in a funny way, I'll honestly tell you everything, from the soufflé's taste to the interior! ✨

Where is 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch?
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is about a 4-minute walk from Exit 5 of Seoulsup Station and about 8 minutes from Exit 8 of Ttukseom Station.

5to7, the Seongsu soufflé café that has appeared on lots of TV shows like "Saturday Is for Rice" (토요일은 밥이 좋아), is really easy to reach too. It's perfectly placed for dropping in during a walk in Seoulsup, so it works great as a date course.
Interior and seating at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch
5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is a two-floor café in warm wood tones and white.

Once inside, I found that 5to7 has two floors, quite big (?) for Seongsu, haha!
The warm wood tones and clean white blend together nicely, so the moment you open the door you feel a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. It's Instagram-worthy but also comfortable enough to stay for a while.

What I ordered and prices
At 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch I ordered the fresh mango soufflé (₩23,000), an americano (₩6,000) and a milk tea (₩7,500). Fitting for a soufflé specialist, the menu board had appetizing photos of the soufflé.

After ordering, I went up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

The 1st floor also had quite a few seats, but the 2nd floor felt like the main space? I think it'd be great for groups too. It was actually crowded, so I snuck the interior photos whenever people left, hahaha.

The photo spot at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch is the terrace
The best place for photos at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch was the terrace. With the flash switched on a little and shooting on the iPhone 6s, the photos came out really well.
There were lots of seats and all of them were comfy and nice, but plenty of people come for photos in a great-mood café, right? The terrace really is the photo spot..! >__< Turn the flash on slightly and shoot with the 6s and they come out so well,, (results at the end!) If the weather that day had been a bit cooler, I think I'd have sat on the terrace not just for photos but simply because the atmosphere is so pretty haha.

5to7 fresh mango soufflé: fine even if you can't handle sweets?
To start with the conclusion, the fresh mango soufflé at 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch was truly the best. I tire of sweet desserts quickly, yet I finished a whole plate in no time.
The atmosphere is great, but what matters most in a café is the taste, of course. As a Seongsu soufflé hotspot, I ordered with big expectations.
I tried the mango first, and it honestly tasted like that sweet, rich mango I had in Vietnam,,!
And the fluffy soufflé served with it goes without saying. Actually I don't eat a lot of sweet desserts and get tired of them fast TT So I wondered whether I could finish a whole plate, but the 5to7 soufflé was like magic: no matter how much I ate, I never got sick of it.
It melts softly in your mouth, and before I knew it the plate was empty. :)

Is 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch worth going back to?
I came away with a ton of pretty photos from the terrace,,,! If you're looking for a soufflé café in Seongsu, don't hesitate and visit 5to7 Seongsu Main Branch. From the warm wood-and-white space to the soufflé melting in your mouth, it was a really satisfying time. It's a place I want to come back to the next time I need a sweet break. 🥞✨
