Gwanggyo burger restaurant worth a revisit: classic Base Burger set

Today I've got a review of a Gwanggyo handmade burger place that I visited not long ago and couldn't stop thinking about, so I went back! It's BAS BURGER (Base Burger) at Gwanggyo Avenue France. Last time I completely fell for the moist, soft bun and the juicy patty. This time I also wanted to try the newly launched menu item, so I made a return visit!

As a proper Gwanggyo Jungang Station restaurant, Base Burger Gwanggyo Avenue France Branch is close to the station, so it's easy to reach by public transport.

Gwanggyo Avenue France has a really big parking lot, which I think is the biggest plus: you can visit without any parking stress. You know how hard it is to find a restaurant with easy parking in Gwanggyo, right?

Inside the Restaurant

The interior isn't huge, but the clean, modern design left an impression. It opened recently, so it was spotless and pleasant. Some people were eating in, but takeout and delivery orders seemed more common. (Delivery riders kept coming in.)

Unlimited Potato Chip Self-Bar

Base Burger's signature charm is its unlimited potato chip self-bar.

While you wait for your burger, you can eat as many chips as you like from the self-bar. Freshly fried, salty, nutty chips with free refills..! The self-bar also has a heated warmer, so you can eat them warm, which I really liked.

Base Burger Set and Chili Mozza Cheese Bar Review

This time I ordered two Base Burger sets at ₩12,100 each and a chili mozza cheese bar at ₩3,700. The most popular item here is, of course, the Classic.

We ordered the Base Burger set again this time.

It's not the dry bread of a typical fast-food place. It's the premium bun you get at handmade burger spots: moist outside, fluffy inside, with a nutty buttery flavor. The bun is so soft that it's the reason I came back, haha.

Take a bite and the juice of the flame-grilled beef patty, fresh lettuce, tomato and cheese come together perfectly. It's mild and true to the basics, so you never get tired of it and can enjoy it to the last bite.

The fries are the mild kind too, which suits my taste perfectly. haha

I also ordered the new chili mozza cheese bar as a side. It's mozzarella, crispy outside and gooey inside, with a spicy chili sauce, so you get nutty and spicy at the same time. A deliciously spicy kick that goes well with a rich burger!!
