Sejong Italian restaurant, 4-person set with in-laws and baby: Olivus
In short
Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch is an Italian restaurant on Sicheong-daero in Boram-dong, Sejong. For a Constitution Day holiday lunch with her in-laws and baby, the writer booked a day ahead, ordered the 4-person set plus an extra potato soup and Toowoomba pasta, and found B2 underground parking, a high chair and baby tableware all convenient. For a family meal of four adults and a baby, Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch was satisfying enough that the family promised to return.

For the Constitution Day holiday, we finally took my in-laws and the baby out for a meal. I searched for ages for a good place in Boram-dong, and Olivus Compagno Sejong Boram Branch (올리부스 꼼파뇨 보람점) had great reviews, so we decided right away!
Do you need a reservation at Olivus Compagno Boram on a holiday lunch?
On a holiday lunch, booking ahead is the safe move. When we arrived at 1 pm on Constitution Day the restaurant was already full, and thanks to our reservation the day before, we sat down right away.

The bold red exterior catches your eye from far away, and it looks so exotic and pretty. Because we reserved a day ahead, the table was set perfectly for our time, which really touched me :)

Even at 1 pm, the place was buzzing and completely full, which surprised me. If we hadn't booked, we'd have been in trouble. Please make a reservation before you go!
Where do you park at Olivus Compagno Boram?
Use the building's underground parking lot, and if B1 is full, head down to B2, where there's plenty of room. When you're traveling by car, parking is always the first worry, right?

The underground lot here is well laid out, so even a beginner driver would be fine. B1 was already pretty packed, but B2 was wide open and I parked comfortably. No parking stress is the best :)
If the parking entrance is confusing: head for the Sinmijeong Chuncheon Dakgalbi sign

Here's one handy tip to know beforehand. The buildings are a little unusual here: two buildings combine their parking into one lot. So the entrance can be confusing!

From the road, enter at the entrance where you see the Sinmijeong Chuncheon Dakgalbi sign, as in the photo. That's the parking entrance, so you can slip right in without wandering. Please remember it :)

Inside it's warm and cozy, so it's perfect as a date spot in Sejong too. The round lights hanging from the ceiling really boosted the mood.
Four adults and one baby: what did we order at Olivus Compagno?
At Olivus Compagno Boram you order on a tablet at the table, and since we were four adults and one baby, we added one more potato soup to the 4-person set. They also brought a high chair and separate baby tableware, which made a family meal with a baby easy.

Ordering was easy, just swiping through the tablet on the table. With four adults and a baby, we went for the good-value 4-person set and added one more soup.

The drinks came out first, and the colors were so vivid that I couldn't not take photos. One sip of the refreshing ade (fruit soda) woke up my appetite, and waiting for the food was fun.

My in-laws chose iced Americano and iced tea. The cups were big and generous, so there was plenty to enjoy until the end of the meal :)
Since we came with a baby, they thoughtfully brought a high chair and baby tableware too! Mom and Dad could focus on eating with peace of mind, and I was so grateful.
How did each dish in the 4-person set taste?
The Olivus Compagno 4-person set had potato soup, salad, spicy cuttlefish tomato pasta, octopus ink risotto, arugula potato pizza and steak. The baby ate the potato soup well, and my husband praised the octopus ink risotto the most.
Potato soup and salad

The first dish was the potato soup, and honestly I'd have regretted not ordering it. Smooth, creamy, with a rich nutty potato flavor, and the baby gobbled it up.

The salad that followed had really fresh vegetables with a wonderfully crisp crunch.

The cheese powder on top and the dressing went together beautifully, perfect as a palate cleanser.
Spicy cuttlefish tomato pasta

The spicy cuttlefish tomato pasta, packed with seafood, had an appealing kick. The cuttlefish came whole, so it looked overwhelming and the tender texture was the best!
Octopus ink risotto

The octopus ink risotto was one of my husband's top picks, the ultimate in nuttiness. The lemon slice served alongside, plus the plump shrimp and octopus leg on the black ink rice, brought out the flavor perfectly.
Arugula potato pizza

The arugula potato pizza had a chewy yet mild dough that kept us reaching for more. Piled with fresh arugula, it wasn't greasy at all and finished clean.
Steak ordered well-done

The steak, the star of the set, was cooked just right and melted in the mouth. We chose well-done for my in-laws' tastes, and I was surprised that the meat wasn't tough at all but tender!

Eaten with the garnish vegetables, the rich juices fill your mouth.
Extra-ordered Tuumba pasta

Everything was so tasty that we ended up ordering one more Tuumba pasta (creamy spicy pasta) :) The thick sauce clung to the noodles, and we scraped the plate clean to the end.
Would we go back to Olivus Compagno Boram for a family meal?
I'm 100% going back to Olivus Compagno Boram. The food and the friendly staff both satisfied us, so our family decided to come again on special days or whenever we crave Western food.

Honestly, this Boram-dong restaurant gave us a very satisfying family meal. You can feel the care in every dish, and the staff were so kind that we felt treated like guests.
If you're looking for places to visit in Sejong, I strongly recommend this spot with good atmosphere and reliably tasty food. Our family has decided to come back on our next special day or whenever we want Western food.

For anyone looking for a restaurant with easy parking that's good with a baby, Olivus Compagno Boram might be the answer :)
