Songdo Triple Street bakery recommendation! Let me tell you about my visit to Tomoru Bakery, a place packed full of bread varieties.
Tomoru Bakery: location, hours and parking
Tomoru Bakery is at 23 Haedoji-ro 120beon-gil, 1st floor, unit 101, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. It's open daily from 08:30 to 21:30, and you can use the building's underground parking lot.
Why I went looking for a bakery near Songdo Triple Street

I love bread anyway, and while visiting Songdo I looked around for a good bakery and found out Tomoru Bakery has an owner-chef who's a certified national master pastry chef! Since it's the space of someone who's won all sorts of awards haha, I went in with huge expectations.
There's 1 table inside and about 3 outside, so you can eat in either spot — I'd recommend that too, but I went for takeout myself!
Inside Tomoru Bakery: the space and what's on the shelves

The moment I walked in, the sweet smell of bread filled the air haha. Lots of drink menu options too, and so much bread.

From butter tteok (rice cake bread) to scones, soboru (streusel bread), croissants, salt bread and more — such a wide variety of bread to explore!

What I especially loved was the price range! Bread prices these days are so high it's hard to eat well, but at Tomoru Bakery, even the priciest items are only around ₩6,000! Most are between ₩3,000 and ₩5,000, which is great. Even the baguette, which looked almost twice the size of ones elsewhere haha, was only ₩5,000 — genuinely great value.
Rows of impressive awards and citations... with delicious-looking bread right below them haha. Perfect.

Free tasting samples, each under its own lid
One unique thing about this bakery favorite, Tomoru Bakery, is that they put out tasting bread! And it's such a clever touch — it even has a lid haha. Being able to try before you buy makes it even better haha.

There's a rice flour bread event, and even a review event! This place also knows how to give back, as a Green Umbrella charity shop.
The 5 breads I picked at Tomoru Bakery

I ordered and took home the myeongran salt bread (₩3,500), kkaedori (₩4,800), basil tomato (₩5,800), myeongran daepa baguette (₩5,000), and almond tuile (₩7,500) from Tomoru Bakery! Let me introduce them starting with the tastiest, and tell you which ones you absolutely must buy haha.

Ta-da, even with all this the total came to under ₩30,000! Isn't that price range amazing? Compared to bread prices these days, this is an incredible deal. From the left: myeongran daepa baguette, kkaedori, almond tuile, myeongran salt bread, and basil tomato!
What the myeongnan spring onion baguette (5,000 won) tastes like

This one has thinly sliced green onion (daepa) on top, made like a myeongran (pollock roe) baguette.
Let me start from the top — this was my number one pick haha. You have to buy this one! As someone who's obsessed with myeongran, this bread was made for me. The salty flavor of the myeongran and the savory aroma of the green onion go together so, so well, and it's soft with a slight crunch that's so delicious. Plus it has cheese and bacon in it, so there's no way not to love it, seriously haha.
What the basil tomato bread (5,800 won) tastes like

This is the basil tomato! Cream cheese on top, and basil tomato studded throughout the inside.
If you like basil tomato, there's no way you won't love this! Sweet, savory, soft, with no dislikers, and filling too — totally recommend it!!
What the myeongnan salt bread (3,500 won) tastes like

Honestly, myeongran salt bread is everywhere these days haha, and they mostly taste similar so I didn't expect much — but after trying the other bread, my expectations went up... It's definitely salty, with a cheese-like crust on top that's really tasty. Inside, the myeongran pops with texture too haha. Really good — this is my #2!!
What kkaedori, the sesame bread ball (4,800 won), tastes like

Honestly, be careful with this one... if you eat it without thinking, you'll finish the whole thing haha — it's like human chow, snack-like bread! It feels like crispy bread coated in sweet seasoning. Not sure if it's technically a bagel, but when I ate it, it reminded me of bagel chips! And since it's not too hard, I think I'd reach for this over popcorn haha.
What the almond tuile (7,500 won) tastes like

I actually really love almond tuile... but it's usually crazy expensive haha. Even though Tomoru Bakery is a master pastry chef's shop, this size doesn't even cost ₩10,000. At other bakeries, almond tuile sells for a fortune. Still, I think this price is so, so reasonable haha.
There are plenty of coconut chips piled on top, which maximizes the savory flavor. The savoriness of coconut and almond together is amazing... be careful with this one too — honestly it took me 5 minutes to eat, though I really tried to savor it..
From meal breads to desserts at Tomoru Bakery

Ah, seriously... how could you not visit a place where you can enjoy everything from meals to desserts haha. It's a bit embarrassing that I wrote 'recommend' for every single item, but honestly, everything was that good... maybe the ones I picked just happened to be extra delicious haha. But please try what I bought.. and especially the myeongran breads — they're truly delicious. You won't regret it.
Is Tomoru Bakery in Songdo worth a visit?
I've praised everything so much you might not believe me, but once you try it yourself, you'll understand why I couldn't stop haha. The prices were really, really good and everything tasted great, so I enjoyed it a lot.
Honestly, if food isn't good even when it's a type you love, it puts you in a bad mood and makes you not want to go back — but with Tomoru Bakery, I felt none of that. Even though it's in Songdo, I definitely want to go again next time, which shows how well they make their bread haha. I ate so well — definitely go visit!
