Affogato bar at Songdo outlet: weekday vanilla Gato set, Wunder

While wandering around Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo on a weekday, I hit that moment when I desperately needed coffee. I headed toward the food court for a short break, and Wunder Coffee Bar, which you can see right from the entrance, was where I had my coffee and dessert.

Where is Wunder Coffee Bar at the Songdo outlet?

You can find Wunder Coffee Bar by walking straight in from the food court entrance on B1 of Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo. When you suddenly want coffee mid-shopping, you don't have to go far, so it's convenient and easy to remember.

Wunder Coffee Bar menu and set discount

The menu was varied: coffees including Americano, plus lattes, fruit juices, ades, Einspänner (cream-topped coffee) and more. It isn't only coffee, either. There were affogato and ice cream too, so there's something to share if you visit with kids. There are also set menus that save ₩500 each, which was nice.

Wunder Gato + Americano set: price and flavor choice

I ordered the Wunder Gato and Americano set for ₩12,000, which was ₩500 off ordering them separately. For the Wunder Gato you can choose the ice cream flavor from hojicha (roasted green tea), vanilla or a twist mix, and I went with familiar vanilla.

But it turns out hojicha is the signature flavor! I found out later and was a little bummed :( Since it was my first visit I played it safe with vanilla, but next time I want to try the signature hojicha. Hojicha is so trendy these days... sigh.

I tried the iced Americano first, and it was refreshing and nicely balanced.

And then the Wunder Gato I'd been looking forward to! Espresso was poured around the vanilla ice cream, and the coffee aroma drifted up softly even from a distance.

How do you eat a Wunder Gato?

A staff member kindly explained how to eat it: first eat the ice cream on top, then mix everything together and drink it with a straw.

Just as they said, I started with the ice cream. Yum! It's sprinkled with cinnamon, and the cinnamon scent on top of the sweet vanilla was lovely 🍨 Honestly, the ice cream alone was really good. I was halfway through thinking about ordering another one.. hehe

After enjoying the ice cream, once it had melted a little, I stirred it into the espresso. Once the ice cream and coffee were evenly mixed, it tasted different from the first bites. With the coffee aroma added to the sweet vanilla ice cream, it felt like drinking a vanilla latte ☕️

As ice cream, the sweetness comes first, and mixed with coffee, the espresso flavor joins in, so you get to enjoy one menu item in two different ways. I was worn out from walking around all day, and with a cold Americano and a sweet Wunder Gato I properly recharged on coffee and dessert. Yay! 🤍

Why I recommend Wunder Coffee Bar as a café at the Songdo outlet

Wunder Coffee Bar is a great place for a proper sugar recharge when you're a bit tired. The affogato was especially delicious, and next time I visit Hyundai Premium Outlet Songdo, I'll probably dash straight to the food court when I crave coffee. If you're visiting the outlet or looking for a café there, it's worth a stop :)
