Tomoru Bakery is located near the Songdo Coast Guard area. Parking can be a real variable when choosing a Songdo bakery, but Tomoru Bakery had free parking available.
Having the car nearby when you're walking out with several bags of bread turned out to be more convenient than expected!
The store's amenities were also solid — takeout and reservations are available, and the restrooms are separated by gender. Since they also sell drinks, having good amenities mattered more than I expected! There's a waiting area, wifi, and even terrace seating, so on a nice day it's a great spot to buy fresh bread and eat it outside :)

The hours are daily 08:30–21:30. Opening early and staying open until 9:30pm means there's a wide window to choose from! We visited at 8pm, and even though that was only an hour and a half before closing, the bread lineup was still pretty varied.
Usually at this hour a lot of bakeries have pretty bare shelves, but Tomoru Bakery had plenty to choose from!
They also keep baking through the evening, so butter tteok kept getting restocked like this. I grabbed five right away! At around ₩2,500 each, the price was pretty gentle too. For anyone stopping by after work or grabbing a late-night snack, Tomoru Bakery seems like a really good choice!
Tomoru Bakery also has a solid cake and cookie lineup.
The Basque cheesecake and egg tarts looked like they couldn't possibly taste bad, just from the visuals.

I stood in front of so much bread and agonized over what to pick. That day I chose a salt bread (₩2,400), an Earl Grey financier (₩3,200), a plain financier (₩3,200), a vanilla madeleine (₩2,700), and a butter tteok (₩2,500).

They also have a varied drink lineup to enjoy with bread on the outdoor terrace. Prices aren't quite as cheap as a low-cost coffee chain, but still on the affordable side — pairing well with the bread :)
How the five breads tasted, from salt bread to butter tteok
The salt bread was soft with a clear butter aroma coming through. Of the five, it paired best with coffee. The saltiness wasn't overdone, so it balanced nicely with an Americano :)
The Earl Grey financier had a strong, lasting flavor. The aroma was distinct and had real presence!
The plain financier stuck to the basics and did it well. I think it would've been better to eat it before the Earl Grey one, and it also paired well with coffee :)
The vanilla madeleine had a really soft texture. Madeleines show it immediately if they're dry, but Tomoru's madeleine kept its moistness well.
The butter tteok (rice cake) was one I'd want to go buy again. Crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside. A moderate hint of mocha came through and tied the whole thing together perfectly! The aroma wasn't overpowering, just enough to support the flavor, so I kept reaching for more — of the five, it was my clear favorite :)
