Why I started looking for a MagSafe stand for cooking

I’ve been cooking a lot lately, following recipe posts on my phone or videos on YouTube as I go. Every time, I would just set it on the table and keep bending my head down to check it, but my neck would start hurting, the screen was hard to see, and it was surprisingly inconvenient. So I tried various MagSafe stands, but magnetic ones were out because I didn’t have anywhere suitable to stick one in the kitchen! Suction ones were useful at first, but their grip weakened over time, so those were out too...!

After going around in circles, I finally tried an iPad stand that can be used in lots of ways, anywhere! I came to prefer a tablet stand because tablets are larger devices than phones, so I thought the stand itself would have more weight to it—and I liked that it could work with not only a phone but an iPad too.

How are the 360° rotation and angle adjustments?

The 비티냐 MagSafe stand I tried rotates 360 degrees, so it is convenient to use without being restricted by direction. It rotates smoothly, and the MagSafe section can also be freely tilted up and down, which was nice because I could set the angle to suit my line of sight while cooking standing up.

There is also a non-slip pad on the bottom, so it does not slide around whether it is on a kitchen counter, dining table, or desk. It has the satisfying weight you would expect from an iPad stand, too, so it did not tip over with a tablet on it and was comfortable to use.

Can models without MagSafe still use it?

As you would expect from a MagSafe stand, all I had to do was bring my phone close and—snap!—it attached itself without any separate fastening :) Even if you use a model without MagSafe, you can use the magnetic sticker included in the package to use it like MagSafe, so there is no need to worry!

It was easy to adjust the angle and direction even with my phone attached. It was a little stiff at first, but after adjusting it a few times, it became smooth to use!

Do you think, “Do I really need a stand? I can just glance at it!”? Absolutely not, no no...

If you keep looking at your phone when it is not at eye level, it is not good for forward-head posture or your eyesight, and it also makes you hunch your back. It is important to watch with the screen matched to your line of sight and height.

Maybe that is why my back and neck felt especially comfortable when watching videos. Since I could freely adjust both the angle and direction to eye level, I liked being able to watch YouTube with good posture rather than a forward-head posture. I was also happy with it while cooking, since I could stand it beside me and follow a recipe without bending my head down!

Useful for outings and filming too

Things like an iPad stand are useful while cooking, but if you have children, you also tend to carry a tablet when going out. I carry one too, thinking that if I am going to show them something, I might as well show it on a large screen that is easier on their eyes. But when I have to stay overnight, such as for one night and two days, there is so much other luggage to pack that I often just bring my phone because everything is heavy. The 비티냐 360 MagSafe stand is not large, though, so it is easy to carry in a bag, and I plan to bring this along from now on.

Some inexpensive products on the market have weak magnetic force—they are called MagSafe stands, but they simply fall right off. But that absolutely will not happen with the 비티냐 one! I attached my phone and shook it really, really hard, and it did not budge at all? I do not think the phone will fall off, hehe.

It is great simply as a stand, but lots of people film YouTube videos these days too, right? Especially when you feel awkward pulling out a tripod in a café for a vlog, or when you want to do some simple filming at home, the 비티냐 360 MagSafe stand seems like it could help you film with a nice feel! It gives you just the right composition for something like a close-up shot, so I think it could be put to good use for aesthetic vlogs too :)

I think I will get lots of use out of it in everyday life, and it will be perfect as a tripod substitute when I need to take photos for a post too ♡
