We went to Yeoju Premium Outlets over the weekend :D A dakgalbi place we found on the way there!!! Since we had the baby with us, I searched beforehand to make sure they had a high chair. Luckily, they had one, and the chicken comes pre-grilled, so we could eat quickly~~

Even though we deliberately came a little early for lunch, there were lots of people. Thankfully, we got in right away without waiting. The main menu at Seorak Makguksu Chuncheon Dakgalbi Yeoju IC Branch is, of course, dakgalbi!!! It is charcoal-grilled dakgalbi, not the stir-fried kind cooked on an iron griddle. There are two flavors, spicy marinade and soy sauce, and since I wanted to try both, I ordered one serving of each. It was nice that we did not have to choose just one flavor ^^ And makguksu (buckwheat noodles) would have been too sad to skip, so we ordered a bowl of bibim makguksu (spicy mixed buckwheat noodles), too.

The high chair even had a belt, so we could seat the baby safely. It is charcoal-grilled dakgalbi, but it comes pre-grilled, so having it with a baby did not feel burdensome at all.

The chicken is domestic, the rice is domestic, the cabbage is domestic, and even the chili powder is domestic!!!

Lettuce wraps, cabbage with sauce, seasoned shredded radish, pickled perilla leaves, and young-radish kimchi. Just the side dishes you really need.

The side dishes are set out at first, and if you need more, you can comfortably help yourself at the self-serve side-dish bar. The cabbage was so good that I went back for just cabbage twice, haha.

To celebrate its opening, Seorak Makguksu Chuncheon Dakgalbi Yeoju IC Branch is also running a takeaway dakgalbi discount event. It is sooooo much cheaper than eating in. Once you try the dakgalbi, you will think, Oh??? Should I take some home???? :D

How long do you wait for pre-grilled dakgalbi?

Dakgalbi is served pre-grilled after you order, so it takes about 5–10 minutes. So if you might order more, do it ahead of time so you do not interrupt the flow! It was so delicious that I wondered whether we should have ordered three servings from the beginning ㅠㅠ haha.

After a short wait, the pre-grilled dakgalbi arrived. The chicken already looked moist just sitting there. Grilling charcoal dakgalbi is hard work (especially the marinated kind!!!!), so having it come pre-grilled like this was truly the easiest and best. Just give it a quick sizzle over the fire, without splattering marinade everywhere or burning it all, and it is ready to eat.

We grilled and munched on the rice cakes that came with it, too. The rice cakes were so good that I considered ordering more, but Ppu gave all of theirs to me, so we did not order an extra portion, haha. Once everything is cooked, a staff member comes over and raises the grill like this. That means you can keep it warm without burning it...!!!

Soy sauce and marinated dakgalbi, plus bibim makguksu

I started with the soy sauce dakgalbi and wow ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ ♥ It was unbelievably tender, and the gently sweet seasoning was so delicious!!!!! Ppu, who came with me, tried it and immediately said, Oh, this is good!!! I cut some up for the baby too, and the baby picked it up and ate it so well, haha. The dakgalbi was seriously so moist and tender~~~~

The marinated dakgalbi was delicious too!!! Just as moist and tender. Wrap it in lettuce with cabbage and garlic, and it is insanely good!!! The two of us—or really, the three of us including the baby—finished it in no time.

A makguksu photo I was too impatient to take. I only remembered after mixing it, hahaha. Just when the amount of dakgalbi was starting to feel a little disappointing, the makguksu arrived, so we slurped it down together.

After eating, I bought a bag of Miso twisted doughnuts while paying. They were next to the counter, so I thought, Shall I try them? and bought one bag—but these were so good too????????? hahahaha I have no idea how many I opened in the car on the way to Yeoju Premium Outlets... haha.
