Seongsu is a total hotspot paradise these days, right~ I recently did a Seongsu tour with my boyfriend, hitting the spots that are all the rage among people in their 20s!

What is Casedby Seongsu?

Casedby Seongsu (케이스드바이) is a phone accessory shop in Seongsu with a silver-toned exterior. We originally went to Seongsu to check out the Musinsa Seongsu Megastore and Musinsa Seongsu Beauty, but as we walked, this seriously hip, stylish silver storefront really caught my eye?!

Casedby Seongsu is a super hot, offbeat date spot in Seongsu right now. My boyfriend and I had both just changed phones and wanted to escape our grubby default cases, so it felt like fate...

Inside, the vibe was super clean and stylish! Casedby Seongsu isn't just a small-goods shop. It's more like a couples' workshop where you can customize a phone case however you like.

Seongsu shopping: goods, phone straps and initial charms

On one side of Casedby Seongsu, trendy Seongsu goods, all kinds of accessories, straps and initial charms were displayed so prettily. True to its name as a goods paradise, every design was unique and just pure hipness! From simple designs to ones full of personality, the range was so wide that I almost couldn't decide (T_T)

How do you design a phone case at Casedby Seongsu?

At Casedby, you can edit and whip up your very own case with just your smartphone, and it's really simple?! Here's what you can use:

• Upload photos from your gallery (multiple photos, adjustable size)
• AI editing (background removal and cutouts, cartoon-style conversion, etc.)
• Add text and phrases
• Premium artist-collab designs (built-in gallery) available

Hanging keyrings on your bag and decorating your phone is all the rage these days, and there were so many items that fit the trendy Seongsu vibe that browsing was a blast.

I heard fans who are into idols come here to make their bias's photo into a one-of-a-kind phone case, like for favorite-idol goods or birthday café goods.

To make a couple case at Casedby Seongsu, just scan the QR code on the large in-store screen with your phone camera. It takes you straight to the design page, you add your photos, order it, and you're done haha

Which phones, case types and prices does Casedby offer?

Casedby Seongsu supports both Galaxy and iPhone, and they had almost every model. You can choose between a 'MagSafe frame case (M2)' and a 'clear case (M3)', and the price was in the ₩20,000s, much more reasonable than I expected. Good!!

I picked a Mangkom illustration I'm obsessed with lately, and my boyfriend decided couple photos are the best, so he used a photo of the two of us?! You resize and arrange things on your phone, and it was so easy and fun that even a clumsy-handed person like me finished in 1 minute haha

How long does a Casedby phone case take to print?

At Casedby Seongsu, once you pay, the case we designed starts being made in real time on the huge custom machine in the store!

The screen says 'Making phone case...' with a percentage climbing, and my heart was fluttering.. Instead of waiting days and getting it by parcel, it was done right there in just 2 minutes while we enjoyed our Seongsu date, which I loved.

Here's the shot of our finished couple Seongsu phone cases!! Amazing, right (T_T) The print is really sharp and the coating is clean, so my boyfriend and I squealed the moment they came out.. In person they're a million times prettier! My character case is cute, and his couple-photo case is full of memories, which makes me happy haha

Is Casedby Seongsu worth it for a unique couple date?
