Charcoal cleansing balm makeup removal: HEEDA Jirisan Moist

What are the texture and components of this charcoal cleansing balm like?

It had a solid black balm texture. It scooped out relatively softly with the spatula, and the lid had a built-in spatula and storage space, so I could use it without scooping it out directly with my hands.

Since it was my first time using a cleansing balm, I was curious about its cleansing power and feel. I was impressed by how the texture became thinner the more I massaged it.

How did it remove makeup?

I tried it after drawing eyeliner and applying lip products on the back of my hand. The balm spread smoothly as I massaged it in, and within what I checked, the makeup came off cleanly.

How did I use the cleansing balm?

• I scooped out an appropriate amount with the spatula built into the lid.
• I gently massaged it until the balm warmed against my skin and felt like an oil.
• I added a little water and emulsified it thoroughly.
• I rinsed several times with lukewarm water.

How did it feel after removing face makeup?

I used it while wearing eyebrow makeup, eyeliner, lip color, cheek makeup, and base makeup. After the first massage, I added water to emulsify it and rinsed; I felt that my makeup came off in one go, and my skin felt moisturized after cleansing.

I tried this product because I am concerned about uneven texture and small bumps and wanted to pay attention from the cleansing step. Still, rather than drawing conclusions about skin changes from this one experience, it is better to consider it according to your own skin condition.
