Cleansing balm for dry skin eye makeup: HEEDA Jirisan

How well did it remove eye makeup?

I tend to wear heavier eye makeup than base makeup, so I tested eyeliner, mascara, and lip product on the back of my hand. The balm spread smoothly as soon as I massaged it in, and after emulsifying, it removed most regular makeup.

By my estimate, it removed about 95% of waterproof mascara, but not all of it. I thought it would be better to use a separate eye-makeup remover around the eyes.

How did it feel after cleansing?

This was a black charcoal cleansing balm. After adding water to emulsify it, it felt clean enough that I did not need to follow with foam cleanser, and the finish felt moisturizing.

I used it when my skin was red and I was concerned about sebum and blackheads. The sebum and blackheads around my nose seemed to decrease a little after one use, but they did not disappear completely in a day.
