My first visit to QooQoo Chuncheon after the renovation, opening-time visit with my sister on a weekday
When I feel like having sushi, there is one place that comes to mind first, right? On September 10, 2026, I went to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch (쿠우쿠우 춘천점) with my sister at 11:30 a.m.
This visit showed me that the restaurant had become much cleaner after the remodel, with a more varied food selection, so I was really pleased with it as a place for a family meal. There is even a playroom that makes it great for visiting with children, so I would also recommend it to anyone looking for a family gathering buffet in Chuncheon.

QooQoo Chuncheon is even cleaner after the remodel
This was my first visit since the 2026 renovation, and the atmosphere had definitely changed. Recent visitor reviews also often say that the remodel increased the food selection and made the restaurant more pleasant.

My first impression when I walked in was, “It is much wider and brighter than I expected.” The generous space between tables did not feel cramped. There were tables for two, four, and groups. It has an open-kitchen layout, so I could also see food being prepared. Since I arrived right at the weekday opening time of 11:30 a.m., I got in straight away without waiting.
This is the convenient way to use the parking
Let me share the parking tip many people wonder about, too. You can use the building's underground parking lot, and registering your parking while paying gives you 3 free hours. I arrived at 11:30 a.m. and parked underground right away, and there were plenty of spaces. Keep in mind that the underground lot may be busy on weekends or during the lunch rush.
How varied is the sushi selection?
There was a reason people call it a great sushi buffet in Chuncheon. Even a quick look around the sushi station showed a truly wide variety.

The dishes I enjoyed most
- Fresh salmon sushi
- Flounder sushi
- Shrimp sushi
- Soy-marinated shrimp
- Beef sushi
- California rolls
Whenever the sushi ran low, the staff refilled it right away, so I could enjoy it fresh. The salmon was thick, and there were many kinds of shrimp, so I went back for more several times.
It is not just sushi! There is lots of hot food, too
Eating only sushi can start to feel a little rich, but there were really many hot-food options as well.

- Chicken
- Pizza
- Stir-fried dishes
- Pasta
- Udon
- Noodles
- BBQ dishes
There were lots of foods children like, too, so I thought it would be a great place for families.
The salad and fresh-food station was satisfying, too
There was quite a varied salad selection. In particular, the following items were available, and they went well with the sushi.
- Sweet pumpkin salad
- Cabbage salad
- Various dressings
- Yukhoe (Korean beef tartare)
- Seafood salad
They cut through the richness, so I kept going back for them in between.
Desserts range from a chocolate fountain to waffles
Personally, I was quite satisfied with the dessert station, too.

Dessert selection
- Chocolate fountain
- Cake
- Fruit
- Jelly
- Waffles
- Marshmallows
- Ice cream
- Herbal tea
You can cook the waffles yourself, which I think children would especially love.
A wide variety of unlimited-refill drinks, too

- Soft drinks
- Juice
- Coffee
- Slushies
- Herbal tea
I liked that the selection even takes care of a cup of coffee after the meal.
For families with children, the playroom is a real plus!!!
The space that stood out most on this visit was the playroom. It is a truly big advantage for families with young children. The playroom is right next to the dining area, making it easy for parents to keep an eye on it from their table.
Facilities for families with young children
- Playroom in operation
- Several high chairs available
- Family seating
It was a good size for children from elementary-school age through preschool age to play in. There really were lots of family groups there.
What are the prices as of my September 2026 visit?
There was also a price information board at the entrance.

There is also a September autumn discount event period currently underway, so checking before you visit may let you dine for a little less.
My honest review after trying it
Because it was weekday opening time, food turnover was quick and everything was clean overall.

What I liked
- The restaurant is genuinely much cleaner after the remodel.
- The sushi selection was varied and fresh.
- There are many kinds of hot food and desserts, too.
- The playroom makes it nice to visit with children.
- Parking is convenient and can be registered for free.
What was a little disappointing
- There were few people at weekday opening time, so I ate at leisure, but I hear there is usually a wait at weekend lunch.
- At popular times, it is convenient to arrive at opening time or use Tableing's remote queue feature.
Overall | Recommended for family gatherings at a Chuncheon buffet!
QooQoo Chuncheon was not simply a place to go for sushi; it was a buffet the whole family could enjoy together. Children can play in the playroom while adults enjoy the varied sushi and hot food, so I was very satisfied with it as a family dining spot. If you are looking for a Chuncheon buffet for a family gathering or an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet, it is worth visiting.
One-line review
QooQoo Chuncheon at weekday opening time! It was cleaner after the remodel and a satisfying family dining buffet from sushi through dessert.
