Jalapeño cream cheese slice for two in Seongsu: Pizza Slice Seoul

In short

Pizza Slice Seoul is a slice pizzeria in Seongsu, Seoul, opened by the Tokyo-born PIZZA SLICE brand in the basement of a building on Achasan-ro. Two people ordered one slice of Today's Pizza (bacon potato), one slice of jalapeño cream cheese and one garlic knot, and left full, with the jalapeño cream cheese the clear standout. The wide basement hall has solo tables, large group tables and window seats, so Pizza Slice Seoul works for both a solo meal and a date in Seongsu.

If you go to Seongsu these days — the hottest neighborhood in Seoul right now — literally everywhere you turn is hip, haha. Wandering around Seongsu-dong again, I found a Seongsu pizza spot that nailed both vibe and taste for me. This is Pizza Slice Seoul.

What is Pizza Slice Seoul in Seongsu?

Pizza Slice Seoul is a slice pizza shop where the PIZZA SLICE brand, which started in Tokyo, has landed in Seongsu. I had saved it and finally went, and honestly the look of the place was exactly as Seongsu-hot-spot as I expected. It's not just that the pizza is good — the space itself is a whole hot spot.

Pizza Slice Seoul is located in the basement, and the building it's in also houses fashion brands like Dinnaet along with a café, so there's plenty of fun in just looking around the area. A lot of people come to Seongsu for a pop-up and then look for nearby restaurants or cafés, and this place is well located for exactly that — check out a Seongsu pop-up, then come here for a meal. Just note that parking is not possible at Pizza Slice Seoul, so I'd recommend public transit.

Hip from the outside already, you head down to the basement to get in.

The inside of Pizza Slice Seoul was genuinely spacious!!

There are window seats too, plus large tables where several people can sit together — lots of options.

Hip interior design of the restaurant

This is why I'd recommend it for both a Seongsu date and eating alone in Seongsu. Even ordering just one slice and eating solo doesn't feel awkward at all here — good to know if you're looking for a solo-friendly pizza place in Seongsu.

There's also a high chair and a clean indoor restroom, just so you know.

The menu: seven slices plus Today's Pizza

The menu at Pizza Slice Seoul has 7 types of pizza slices along with a rotating Today's Menu.

You pick whichever slices you want, which is great if you want to try a little bit of several flavors. And above all, each slice is way bigger than you'd expect...!! There are also cocktails to pair with the pizza, so if you visit in the evening, pizza-and-cocktail pairing sounds pretty great.

The two of us ordered 1 slice of Today's Pizza, 1 slice of jalapeño cream cheese, and 1 garlic knot, and it was plenty for both of us.

Even ordering just one slice per person turns out to be a decent-sized meal, so I'd recommend it as a good-value pizza spot in Seongsu. Takeout is also available, so if you want to grab it and eat nearby, keep that in mind!

How did the garlic knot, jalapeño cream cheese and bacon potato taste?

When you order, they reheat the pizza in the oven before serving, so it's really warm and delicious right when it comes out.

The look of it is no joke, haha.

Side order: garlic knot

Starting with the garlic knots we ordered as a side! My friend and I kept marveling as we ate them. It's basically garlic bread — you really taste the buttery flavor, crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, pure crispy-outside-soft-inside. Honestly, I feel like adding garlic dipping sauce on top would take it to another level ㅠㅠ

Jalapeño cream cheese slice

The jalapeño cream cheese pizza was personally my favorite item of the whole meal!!

The spicy kick of the jalapeño reins in the cream cheese perfectly, so you just keep going back for more. Honestly, I'd come back just for this.

Today's Pizza: bacon potato

Today's Pizza was bacon potato! A solid, dependable choice, haha. It was loaded with bacon and potato toppings, and the crust was thin and crispy, which paired well with the toppings.

Since the crust is on the thinner side, you really taste the toppings — the perfect example of a really good American-style pizza!

Is Pizza Slice Seoul worth a visit in Seongsu?

Pizza Slice Seoul was a Seongsu pizza spot that satisfied on vibe, taste, and value all at once! Just one big slice was plenty filling, so it was easy to enjoy without feeling like too much. The jalapeño cream cheese I loved the most was such a great combination, and the garlic knots we ordered as a side are also a strong recommend..!

It's a good spot for a casual solo meal in Seongsu, but also fits well as a hangout with friends or a Seongsu date course, and since there are plenty of Seongsu pop-ups and concept stores nearby, it's easy to drop by while exploring the neighborhood. If you're looking for a hip Seongsu-dong hot spot while also craving good pizza, I'd recommend giving this Seongsu pizza spot, Pizza Slice Seoul, a visit.
