FLOW design silver rings at a Seongsu jewelry workshop: Robenta
In short
Robenta Seongsu is a ring-making workshop on the 3rd floor of a building one minute from Seongsu Station Exit 3 in Seongdong, Seoul. Out of 24 designs created by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience, this visit picked FLOW, shaped the lower half by hand with 4 sandpaper sticks, and collected the 925 silver couple rings the same day after about an hour of staff finishing work. Even with no glossy polish added, the original FLOW design looked pretty enough on its own, making Robenta Seongsu an easy couple date course in Seongsu.

What is Robenta Seongsu, a ring-making workshop in Seongsu?
Robenta Seongsu is a ring-making workshop just a 1-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. It's a place where you can pick from a variety of rings designed by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience and make one to your taste!! Since you can take the finished ring home the same day, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a special date 💕

How to walk to Robenta Seongsu from Seongsu Station Exit 3
It's about a 1-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. Being so close to the station made it really easy to find.

It's located on the 3rd floor of the building, and at first I naturally assumed I should take the stairs right in front, but there was signage saying you need to take a different staircase. I guess a lot of people make the same mistake, because there was kind signage guiding the way haha…

Once you reach the 3rd floor, you see a luxurious-looking entrance. I expected a ring workshop to feel a bit small and cute, but it was cleaner and more upscale than I imagined, so it won me over from the start.

Once you step inside, the staff kindly guide you. Even as a first-time visitor, everything was explained step by step, which I liked.

Robenta Seongsu ring designs and prices
Robenta Seongsu has 24 designs in total, priced ₩75,000–145,000 per ring. Near the entrance there's a space where you can see all of Robenta's ring designs at a glance. We used it to pick out a design we liked in advance!! Robenta's rings are designed by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience. From simple designs to more three-dimensional, unique ones, there was a wide variety, so it was nice to be able to choose a ring that matched our taste.

There are 9 ring-making tables in total! They say up to 9 couples can make rings at the same time. The space itself was spacious enough that the tables didn't feel cramped.

There were 24 designs total, and since prices differ by design, you just pick the one that fits your taste and budget. Prices were clearly listed for each ring, which made it easy to choose within our budget.

Engraving, plating and polish options explained
After picking the design, you also consult on and choose whether to add engraving or plating, and which finish to go with among glossy, matte, or diamond-cut polish. It was nice to be able to decide down to the details to match the design we wanted 🥰🥰 After you finish making the ring yourself, the staff spend about an hour on finishing work, so if waiting isn't your thing, choosing shipping pickup could also work.

The price chart for each ring 💰 Just a heads-up: plating, engraving, or sizing above size 20 comes with extra charges!! Since prices were displayed ahead of time, it was easy to check when choosing extra options. Also, Robenta uses 925 silver. It didn't feel like just an experience activity — they clearly cared about the material and finish quality too.

Free lettering engraving is available if you take part in the review event!

Choosing the FLOW design and measuring ring size
We went with the FLOW design. It was clean but not too plain, which suited our taste perfectly ❤️

They brought out ring size samples and measured us directly. We tried on the size samples one by one and decided on the size that fit our fingers.

Shaping the silver ring with 4 sandpaper sticks: is it hard?
Making a ring at Robenta Seongsu involves using 4 sandpaper sticks in order, each with a different role, so even without any hand skills, you just follow the staff's instructions. We put on cute aprons and got started!
We properly began making our rings. The top half of the ring already comes with the design done, and you shape the bottom half yourself. At first it looked simple enough that I thought it would be over quickly, but once I actually tried it, I found myself surprisingly focused lol
There are 4 sandpaper sticks in total, each with a different role, used in order as you make the ring. Each sandpaper has a slightly different way of being used, so we went through them one by one listening to the staff's explanation.

The staff kept checking in along the way and explained things simply, so even people with no hand skills can make a ring without issues. I'm not particularly skilled with my hands either, but since the staff kept checking on me, it wasn't difficult. The making process itself was fun too, so it seemed like a great date activity for couples.
The finished 925 silver couple rings after 1 hour of finishing
After waiting an hour, our finished rings 💍 So pretty!
We didn't add any extra polish and kept the original design as is. Since the ring was designed by a jewelry master with 30 years of experience, we chose to keep the design as it was rather than change it. The making process itself was fun, but seeing the finished ring made me feel unexpectedly proud 😎😎

They also gave us a ring case and a handbag together. The case and handbag were so pretty that the whole experience ended on a good note. Putting the ring we made ourselves into such a pretty case even felt like receiving a gift 🎁

Wearing our couple ring after making it ourselves, we liked it even more 💍 Since we were together from the making process through to the finished product, it felt more special than a ring we'd simply bought.

The clean design made it easy to wear everyday without feeling like a hassle. It's such a pretty design that I don't want to take it off, so I think I'll be wearing it for a long time 🥰
Final verdict: who Robenta Seongsu suits best
- Anyone looking for a special couple date in Seongsu
- Anyone who wants to keep a handmade couple ring
- Couples who want a meaningful date for an anniversary
- Anyone who wants to see and choose from various ring designs in person
Robenta isn't just a place to buy a ring — it's a ring workshop where you can experience choosing a design and making the ring yourself. It was great being able to choose from various rings designed by a jewelry designer with 30 years of experience, and the use of 925 silver material was a plus too. After finishing, they carry out professional finishing work, so the quality of the ring you made yourself is neatly taken care of. If you want a slightly special date in Seongsu instead of just a regular café or meal, I'd recommend this ring workshop! Hope this helps with picking your date spot ~
