Is parking easy at Yolk Wonju Musil?

Customers get 2 hours of free parking 🚗 for every vehicle, and you can also park on the roads around the building, so parking is pretty convenient. I hear Yolk has been in this spot since 2013.

A spacious two-story dining room with a cozy mood

Yolk in Wonju is spacious with a lovely atmosphere, and there are quite a lot of seats inside. It's roomy overall and the tables aren't squeezed together, so it was nice to eat without feeling rushed.

Yolk Wonju Musil has two floors, so there are seats upstairs as well as on the ground floor. The windows are big too, so it's bright inside during the day and the mood is nice.

Water and napkins are already on the table, and there are also stations on the ground floor and upstairs, so just grab more if you need them.

For the restroom, go out the door from the ground floor and use the one inside the building. 🧻 Bring your own tissue.

What's on the Yolk menu?

Yolk has a really wide range of dishes: steak, pasta, burgers, burger plates, sandwiches and side dishes, plus

café drinks, wine, beer and cocktails. Even with a group, everyone should be able to find something they feel like eating.

What I especially liked is the variety of sets. When ordering several dishes, a set is usually cheaper than ordering à la carte, so you want to go with a set, but you often end up ordering à la carte because the set lineup doesn't appeal, right? Yolk has several kinds of sets, so there were plenty of choices, which I loved.

We ordered the pork neck set. After ordering, bread and pickles come out first. The bread is one morning roll with strawberry jam, and the food came out quickly overall.

The Yolk Wonju Musil pork neck set is ₩62,000 and includes bread, pork neck steak, a choice of pasta, a choice of pilaf or burger, and 2 drinks. Pastas, pilafs and burgers differ in price, but there's no extra charge except for the most expensive item, so it's smarter to pick the dishes with the higher à la carte prices.

We chose the pork belly perilla oil pasta and the original double-patty burger.

The original double-patty burger has two patties, so it's quite hearty. It comes with a salad and fries too.

Pork neck steak

Under the pork neck steak there are vegetables and potato mousse. Eating the steak together with the vegetables and potato mousse worked really well.

Pork belly and perilla leaf oil pasta

I'd never seen a pork belly perilla oil pasta before, so I ordered it. It has pork belly in it, the pork belly was tasty, and it has a bit of a kalguksu (knife-cut noodle soup) feel.

We ordered zero cola for both drinks. They came in stainless steel cups with ice, which I liked.

Is Yolk Wonju Musil a good date-night restaurant?

The interior is pretty and has atmosphere, so I thought it was a good place for a date. When we visited, there were lots of families and friends too, not just couples.

The menu is so varied that everyone in a group can pick what suits them, and the different sets make ordering several dishes together worthwhile. Above all, parking is easy and the restaurant is spacious, which is a plus if parking matters when you choose where to eat. The staff were friendly and the food came out fast.
