I'd been craving Mexican food and happened to have errands near HUFS, so I stopped by Eaters Mexican for lunch. It's a spot with a wide range of Mexican dishes, and we ordered the signature fajita along with a grapefruit ade and a lime mojito.

Eaters Mexican is about a 3-minute walk from HUFS Station, so it's easy to get to, and being close to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies made it convenient to find.

The restaurant is on the 3rd floor, but there's a clear sign on the 1st floor pointing the way, so it wasn't hard to locate.

There's a parking tower behind the building, and dine-in guests get 1 hour free parking.

After the free hour, it's ₩2,000 for the first 30 minutes and ₩700 per 10 minutes after that. If your car can't use the parking tower, you'll need the public parking lot near HUFS Station instead — no parking assistance is available there.

Warm wood furniture, vintage red brick, and touches of decorative tile came together for a space that felt exotic and cozy at first glance.

Natural light pouring in through the big windows, along with green plants placed around the space, made it feel even fresher and more pleasant. It's not all captured in the photos, but there's ample group seating, an outdoor terrace, and baby chairs for anyone visiting with kids.

The signature fajita, sized for 2 people, arrived as one hearty warm plate loaded with chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, and sautéed onion. Both soft and hard tortillas were provided, and tortillas and sauce could be refilled once.

On top of that came sweet pineapple, savory guacamole, tangy tomato salsa, corn salad, red cabbage, and jalapeño, so we could mix and match combinations to taste. Best of all, three house-made sauces came alongside, so it was fun to build your own fajita by picking ingredients and adding sauce as you liked.

First I piled the familiar soft tortilla with whatever meat I wanted, added sautéed onion and tomato salsa, then finished with a generous scoop of sour cream, building it my own way.

Personally, the more sauce I added, the better it tasted, and as a true cilantro lover I piled it on generously — so much that I ran out and asked for a refill.
