I found a lovely spot in Seochon and went to check it out. It was Wine Stein Seochon (와인슈타인 서촌)!
There are so many pretty cafés and good restaurants in Seochon that it is hard to choose where to go, but I liked this place because you can enjoy brunch and coffee during the day, then soak up the mood with wine in the evening. I am quite a wine person, so although I visited during the day, I was curious what the atmosphere would be like at night too, haha.
Wine Stein Seochon hours and floor
Hours Mon–Fri: 11:00–23:00 Sat: 11:30–23:00 Sun: 11:30–18:00 Café service (brunch and coffee) is available until 17:00.

Wine Stein is on the third floor of the building.

Coffee was served from opening until 17:00, wine was available all day, and food service ran separately from 18:00 to 23:00.

Once I got to the third floor, I threw open the door and headed in!

A calm space overlooking Seochon
Ta-da~ I totally fell for the space... I cannot believe there is such a hidden-gem space in Seochon. It is just so nice!

The tables were spaced generously, so you were not sitting too close to the next table and could dine at ease. I visited at lunchtime, and the space itself was pretty and calm, making it a lovely place to linger over brunch. Above all, the full-height windows with a clear view over Seochon were really charming.

It is great for spending quiet time alone, and also for coming with friends or a larger group to chat.

Brunch with the Lunch Club A set
I deliberately came at lunchtime that day to try the Lunch Club menu! You can choose from A, B, or C, and I chose A: a croissant sandwich plus salad and pasta. It also came with an Americano or sparkling drink, so it was quite a nice set, right? Haha.

The desserts looked tempting too... haha. I should come back with my coworkers!

A wine bar to enjoy day and night
And, as you can probably tell from the name, Wine Stein is a wine bar.

They had lots of wines, with friendly explanations written out for each one. The prices too! The wine price range was not as burdensome as I expected, which was quite nice.

While I was looking around, my coffee came out! I chose an iced Americano, haha.

The croissant sandwich plus salad and pasta arrived too, and it looked absolutely beautiful!! Rather than feeling like a quick café bite, each brunch item felt carefully prepared.

Croissant sandwich with ham, cheese, arugula, and apple
The croissant sandwich in particular was really delicious, haha. Between the crisp croissant were ham, cheese, arugula, and more, with slices of apple too, making it a seriously substantial sandwich.

It felt like a sandwich carefully made at home, you know? Homemade! It looked pretty and tasted clean and fresh, so I was quite satisfied.

Warm ragù pasta and plum salad
Steam was rising from the pasta, so it was lovely to enjoy it warm. The ragù pasta was totally my style~

The salad was good to have alongside it, and with the pasta included, the set was more filling than I expected.

The salad also had finely chopped plum in it, which went well with the sweet-tangy dressing, so I enjoyed that too. It was a brunch where you could feel the care put into every item.

Having tried the brunch menu overall, I was satisfied because the set was substantial and the flavors were clean and fresh. It was especially filling for lunch since I could have a variety of things at once, from the sandwich to pasta and salad! I visited during the day, but I think Wine Stein Seochon will have a different mood in the evening, so I would like to come back for wine next time, haha.
If you are looking for a brunch spot or wine bar with a lovely atmosphere in Seochon, stop by sometime. Next time, I am going to visit in the evening rather than daytime and properly enjoy a glass of wine!!!
