Jamsil cake shop: 'Will you marry me' proposal cake, Circus Rabbit

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a cake, so I searched the internet like crazy. Everyone makes such cute, clever lettering cakes that I had a really hard time deciding which one to pick... haha. I happened to have errands in Jamsil, so I decided to order from Circus Rabbit (서커스래빗), a great lettering cake shop in Jamsil, Songpa.

Circus Rabbit is open from 10:00 to 16:00, with last order at 15:30, and closed on Sundays and Mondays. Unmanned pickup is available until 21:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It's at B2-10, Jangmi Jonghap B Complex, B1, 112 Ollimpik-ro 35-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

How do you find Circus Rabbit inside the Jangmi complex?

Circus Rabbit is on the B1 floor of Jangmi Jonghap B Complex. Several shopping complexes are clustered together, so it was hard to find at first, but it turns out there's another entrance, and when you come down the stairs the shop is right in front of you :-)

The shop isn't big, but it was full of cute little props and adorable cakes. Just looking at the designs of cakes other customers had ordered, I thought, wow, there are so many anniversaries and birthdays! Lettering cakes are trending these days, too, so they seem like an easy way to say something big without making it a big deal!

They also had cute candles that kids and adults alike would love, so they'd make a safe gift for anyone!

How many characters fit on a No. 1 lunchbox cake?

Circus Rabbit's cakes come in a wide range of sizes, and what I ordered was the lunchbox cake (No. 1 cake)! Even so, it fits up to 13 characters, so I could get my message across short and punchy.

Even when I buy a regular cake, I usually can't finish a whole one and end up throwing some away, so a small lunchbox cake is much less of a burden and you can actually eat all of it!

A 'Will you marry me' reverse proposal cake for my boyfriend's birthday

It was my boyfriend's birthday, but since we're about to get married, I made the Circus Rabbit lunchbox cake as a surprise proposal of sorts. The lettering says 'Will you marry me?' He had already proposed to me, and I wondered what I could do in return, and the first thing that came to mind was a cake..!!

I wanted to hand it over with a dramatic ta-da! ... and it was such a lovingly made cake from a great Jamsil lettering cake shop... but to cut to the chase, the proposal was a total failure! Hahahaha, it's not easy, that thing..^.^ Anyway, he said he really hadn't expected it at all. He liked it, so that's good enough... haha

Circus Rabbit packaging and unmanned pickup: how long does the cake last at room temperature?

I was told Circus Rabbit's cakes can last up to about 1 hour at room temperature. They wrapped it up so prettily that it was easy to carry, but it can be warm during the day, so you should get it into the fridge or eat it as soon as possible..!!

Unmanned pickup is available until 21:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and during the day the owner is there until 16:00. If you want to use unmanned pickup, check how it works before you go :-)

Was the Circus Rabbit lunchbox cake a good anniversary gift?

Circus Rabbit is a Jamsil lettering cake shop where I could order at a reasonable price! The designs are cute and varied, and I really liked the quality of the lunchbox cake, which was just right for conveying feelings :-) For anniversaries and birthdays, why not give a thoughtful cake with lettering instead of a regular one!
