How to get to Dumburger Yeouido from Saetgang Station

Dumburger Yeouido is about a 3-4 minute walk from Exit 1 of Saetgang Station, right behind the KBS Annex. I heard a new handmade burger place had opened near Saetgang Station in Yeouido, so after a weekend morning run in Yeouido Park we went for brunch.

What is the atmosphere like at Dumburger Yeouido?

Dumburger Yeouido looks like a hip American burger joint, and it gets lots of sunlight. We walked in not long after opening, so it was relaxed, but the staff in the kitchen looked super busy, probably with a rush of delivery orders right from opening.

The interior felt like we'd dropped into a hip burger place in America, so pretty and full of personality.

It's a sun-soaked spot, so I bet photos would turn out really well if you visit between morning and lunchtime haha

Dumburger menu and sides

Dumburger has a wide range of burgers: cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, double patty, truffle patty and chicken burger. It started at the Yeonnam-dong flagship and has recently become a hot burger spot, opening branches in Yongsan, Yeouido and more.

You order at the kiosk by the entrance. Besides burgers, there are plenty of sides to go with them: chili cheese sticks, whole chicken thigh, chicken tenders, hash browns, corn salad and coleslaw.

Dumburger's "less salt" option: worth trying?

The Dumburger kiosk has a "less salt, please" option, so we ordered both the Double Pizza Cheeseburger and the cheeseburger less salty. We chose sets with the default medium fries and a soda. Since the option exists, I figured the default might be a little salty, so I picked it!

Dumburger Yeouido starts cooking as soon as you order, and the food took about 10 minutes to come out.

Free drink refills and an open kitchen

I loved that Dumburger Yeouido has a drink dispenser inside with free refills! The kitchen is open, so you can watch your burger being made, and it was spotlessly clean, which I liked.

Easy-to-hold wrapping and the fries

The burgers came generously packed in an unusual wrapper, a thick foil layered with parchment paper. Of all the burger places I've been to, this was the easiest wrapping to hold in your hands!

The fries are thin and crispy, McDonald's style. That's my favorite kind of fries, so I was happy :)

We poured our favorite drinks, Mountain Dew and Coke Zero, and finally started eating!

How do the Double Pizza Cheeseburger and cheeseburger taste?

My boyfriend's Double Pizza Cheeseburger has pepperoni on top of the beef patty and cheese. I'd strongly recommend it on days when you want pizza and a burger at the same time.

Since it was my first visit to Dumburger, I ordered the most classic basic, the cheeseburger. The patty quality is high, the sauce is lovely and mild, and above all, choosing "less salt" when ordering was a stroke of genius. The seasoning was amazingly good!

Would we go back to Dumburger Yeouido?

After eating, we both agreed Dumburger is number one among the handmade burger places near Yeouido Station. It was the most satisfying burger meal we've had recently, so we're 100% coming back!
